“What a breath of fresh air from this restaurant. The nicest people, great fresh food and atmosphere. Keep in mind that this is a locally family owned restaurant. All food is made from scratch and WOW it shows and you can taste. Went for Taco Tuesday and tried several different tacos. I was impressed with all I tried. You cant go to Taco Bell for what Taco Tuesday cost. Everyone was so nice and helpful... They even had live music!

“Came here with my family for dinner on Sunday. We were greeted by a sweet man and sat at our table. We ordered the hummus, garlic labneh, sumac fries, and falafel for appetizers and everything tasted good and came out hot and fresh. For dinner we ordered the zatar braised short rib, upside down lamb pilaf, and the chicken taouk. Everything tasted great and was nice and hot. The chef came out to talk to us and he was a very nice man. Will definitely come back again!“

“I recently dined at Chelo for a birthday lunch. All of the food was next level delicious, but I am going to dream of those feta rolls. The service was quick and the server was awesome. “Really cute place! Staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a group of 8; sat in a corner booth. Margaritas were great; 1 person had a Bloody Mary and really enjoyed it. Their assistance in supporting my idea for this event was critical to its success. I have to shoutout the manager, and her staff for making me feel so comfortable with asking for their help. They were friendly and very encouraging. The service we received from our server was magical and he provided the most impeccable service for the entire evening. He was thorough, friendly, and answered all our questions as first-timers. Great food. Pleasant atmosphere. Wonderful service. This is what you look for in an evening out with a great dinner. Coalition is our new favorite spot and we are looking forward to a return visit.“

I’m absolutely addicted to their “gringo” queso dip, super soft and melts right away it is definitely a highlight compared to other places. The quesadillas were pretty fulfilling and also appreciated the vegetarian option, my friend tried the vegan mango quinoa salad and loved it!
Service has been hit on miss at times but last visit the manager was there (or owner not sure) and I was impressed with the overall quality. Will be coming back soon!“
