Not many home cooking restaurants left, but this one if definitely a GEM! I had been here once before for a delicious salad and was in the same neck of the woods today and figured i would treat the family to lunch. They devoured it! Plus, a side of turnip greens and cornbread, how can you possibly go wrong. ❤️

Stopped here for lunch on a Wednesday. Expected it to be packed. It was, but the service was very good. I had the pork chop and two veggies and a roll. It was exactly like home cooking. Very tasty and an excellent price for the huge amount of food. We will be back!!!!

The food is always excellent, but we ordered a pound of pork and a quart of stew to take home. When I got home the small container of pork did not look like a pound of meat, so I weighed it and it was 11.4 ounces of meat and with the container it was just at 12 ounces. A pound is 16 ounces. I was disappointed. I had to go and get more pork for supper at a different restaurant. Make sure you are getting what you paid for because every dollar we spend is precious.
Love the place best country fried steak and their meatloaf very good and the best cream corn I've ever had

We visit here every Friday. It's Meatloaf Friday, as we call it. Fresh veggies, nice portions. Tasty The atmosphere is very laid back. It's a small place, but you get waited on quickly, and everyone is so personable. Try it out!!! Oh, they also have great burgers and chicken strips. .. Best Mac and cheese ever...and I don't like Mac and cheese. . Lol
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a lower section for walkers. Wheelchairs or anyone who can't step up stairs...

Wow! Their chicken is slept on ! Amazing food especially their homestyle chicken! I got the Tenders plate tonight and wife got the house salad w fried chicken, we called in and the lady was very nice and stated “it will be ready in 15 mins”Showed up 8 mins later as it is right down the street and the food was packaged and ready on the takeout counter! Great value and great service to match ! These tenders are HUGE!!!
