Ordered the steak tacos and shrimp tacos. Steak tacos were so tough it hurt my jaw. Wouldn't get them again. The shrimp tacos on the other hand were delicious and cooked perfectly.The chips had a bitter taste as if they were cooked in old oil.I love to support small businesses but I've had better Mexican food elsewhere. I would only come back if it's a quick and easy option.

First time at Oax-Mex was just okay. The street tacos were a bit dry and lacking in flavor. The street burrito was better; however, it also could’ve used more flavor. The rice was flavorless. Refried beans were good. The service was good and the place was nice and clean. Disappointed that it was not as good as it looked! Hopefully next time will be a better, more flavorful experience.

Careful, they have plenty of dishes that aren't overpowering. Try the Aztec tacos. one with pastor (pork) and one with steak. Muy Bueno!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access.
