We went to Savy Jo's for the first time to celebrate a family member's birthday.
The food was delicious. Portion sizes were pretty decent and the taste was great. They open at 5:00 and there was a line waiting to get in the door.
Our negative experience was in the seating. We found that they have a small seating area but we were assured on the phone that we could make a reservation for the 10 people that we had coming to eat. We called again on Friday and re-verified...read full review

Always Busy... Expect a small wait. Once we were seated, Service was excellent, food was Good. The homemade Cheese Grits are a must try. My steak was cooked as ordered. A little pricey. Will visit again.
Great food, friendly servers. Good vibe. Enjoyed myself.

Savy Jo’s offers ribeye with fried shrimp, battered fries, and fried okra, as well as ribeye with blackened shrimp, bacon wrapped green beans, and a baked potato. The food also had fried cheesecake topped with strawberries, a small shrimp basket, hushpuppies, fried pickles, and an appetizer. The food is described as fresh, hot, flavorful, cooked to perfection and delish. Service is called excellent, awesome, attentive, super friendly, warm and exceptional. The staff was friendly, warm and made feel right at home. The environment is nice, clean and great. Price is decent and the quality is high. Reviewers say the place is the absolute best in Wayne County, comparable to B and J's in Darien, a must‑visit and absolutely highly recommend. The restaurant is great potential and will be back.
