“Love the pizza here. This is my second time for me & my husband coming here and the taste + service are really good. The servers are friendly and helpful if you don’t know what to choose. Will recommend this place to friends and family.“
“I tried Marco’s for the first time a week ago and I was super impressed. I got a thin crust Italian sausage pizza. The pizza was cooked to perfection. The sauce has a slightly sweet taste to it. And I used a coupon so the price was very reasonable. Online ordering and pickup were seamless and the staff seemed friendly. I will definitely be back.“
“We walked in for lunch and immediately knew that everyone there was aware that the 2 of us were fatter and older than 5 years ago. Add to that the bartender, Mel, must've detected a hint of our retardation bc she mentioned on numerous occasions how to spell her name...the first test was drinks: I ordered us a "dunwoody house wife"..(1/2 water 1/2club soda 1 lemon wedge 1/2 cup of bitters shake it then pour it all out in front of strangers...its a treat) Lunch was delicious-spaghetti and meat sauce ...just like mom's as was Mel's glare as she watched us slurp noodles off the bar. Finally dessert and let me tell ya- the foreplay leading up to the actual decision to order promised an explosive finish- Tuxedo ?: frozen strawberry something with ice cream...we waited- we were actually giddy with anticipation...the moment had arrived -VOILA! 2 pickle spears a pack of mayonnaise and strawberry candy...an equally delicious treat. (UPDATE:We went back this week- we got the right soda this time but still can't recall how-to spell her name..)FYI if you show up at the right time you may ZZ top or the Morton fisherman in the corner (same guy...)Kid-friendliness: If you allow your 8 year to roll his own or turn a lucky in his hard pack then I guess it could be kid friendly but I'm gonna say not...“
“I stopped here for a takeout pizza. This is exactly like the pizza I had in Italy. I love NY style pizza, but this is Naples style (Neapolitan). It's delicious and it's done very well here. There are basic items I look for in good Neapolatin pizza. First, the crust should be crispy and airy. Second, the dough bottom should be stretched thin and cooked slightly browned with a thin crisp on the bite. Next, the sauce and cheese should be thin but savory, with a touch of olive oil and full of flavor. All of these things require skill in making and shaping the dough as well as a good oven that crisps the bottom while the cheese bubbles on top. I make pizza from scratch at home, and I've learned how important each of these factors are and the difficulty in perfection them.I personally don't respect a pizza covered with multiple toppings that distract from these primary flavors. I had the Margherita pizza and the fresh basil added a wonderful aroma and flavor that came together perfectly with the other ingredients. I remembered myself enjoying a pizza in Italy with every bite. Novo is the best Neapolatin pizza I've had anywhere in GA.Sorry, there are no photos, but the ROTP (Rule of Takeout Pizza) states you must have a slice before leaving the parking lot. Novo would be best enjoyed on premise. This wasn't an option for me this time, but a future trip will allow for pictures and more exploration!“
“I lived in Naples Italy for several years so I have a pretty good take on what authentic tastes like. And while this isn't quite authentic it's close and it is very good. The pizza came out of the wood fired ovens fast and hot!! The price was was good for the value and it close by which is an added bonus. Overall it's a solid choice for a Napolitan style pizza“
“So, I was craving NY style pizza. After reading so many reviews on this place, I decided to check it out. First of all, no one mentioned that its located across the street from a neighborhood Walmart and a Dollar Tree store. That was cool because I had some errands to run. lol The staff was kind and when I came in to pick up my supreme slice of pizza, pick up order. However, to be honest, I walked to my car and opened the bag and noticed that my slice was very over cooked. Of course I was disappointed, but I took the slice back into the store with a smile and they quickly made me a fresh slice which you will see pictured here. The slice was really large and I liked that I could fold the slice to eat it. I can't say I loved the crust...but the toppings were great. The place was clean and they even gave me the over cooked slice to take with me..not sure if I will atttempt to eat it. Kudos to them for still selling slices. So cool. It's a small place ..so get your pizza to go and enjoy.“
“Tommy at the Morristown, TN location was amazing! I've worked in customer service as a supervisor for many years and it's very rare that someone excels at speaking to and exceeding expectations! Please pass on the "great job" to him. I know it can seem far and few between to hear the good.“
“Peace Love and Pizza was a wonderful experience. Our pizza came out hot and fresh and the service was great. I would definitely recommend Peace Love and Pizza to all my pizza/wing lovers out there.Kid-friendliness: My daughter loved the experience.“
“For the past 4 yrs I had given up finding good NY/NJ style pizza here in GA. But I decided to give this a try. A bit of a drive for us, but it was so worth it!!!! I still can’t believe how great the pizza is here. I felt like I was in NY. No kidding!! You must go and see for yourself. I had the chicken parm slice and veggie slice. My son had the Long Island slice and some kind of Sicilian. They were all incredible!! And the owner is lovely. Great experience all around. I can’t wait to go back!!“
“I'm from NY and I was missing eating in Little Italy so I came here. I had no expectations because a lot of the food down here is just not comparable to back home, no offense. I can't speak for the pizza (which I will definitely be coming back for soon because this place is really good) but I ordered mussels and had a glass of sangria. The mussels were really good and I'm very happy. The boys behind the counter are sweet, friendly, and respectful. I'll definitely be coming back here and am happy that after two months of living in GA I found a place like this.“
“My family’s favorite pizza spot!! My husband curiously stopped in one day about a year ago, and we’ve been coming back 2-3times a month ever since. They use fresh quality ingredients and make the marinara sauce from scratch. The pizza is consistently good every single time! Also every time we go we are greeted with warm welcomes and smiles. Genuinely great people making genuinely great pizza! You will not be disappointed!“
“Snow cheese wings was the beeeest! This is the second time I've been to a 99k chicken and I have fallen in love with the snow cheese wings. If you are a fan of the flavor combo of chicken and waffles this is a wing flavor you gotta try. I know sweet and savory is not everyone's fav flavor but this is just an amazing flavor and the wings here are always cooked to crispy perfection! I wish all wings would be this crisp wherever I go but this place always cooks them the best. I'll for sure be coming back for more with friends.“
“We ordered the giant party pizza and they kindly let us place the order ahead of time so we didn’t have to de with it on party day. I called the day before to confirm and the owner was great. They even delivered it before they opened on a Sunday! My husband said we finally had pizza as good as we had up north! Thank you Dagwood.“
“Just wanted to let you kow that the food was awesome with excellent quality/tasty. Beef was out of the world. Everyone loved the food and we catered for a party of 60. Once again great job by Cake world team. Santhosh & team nailed it ?“
“Being from Michigan, our choices in pizza included Jets. We were thoroughly surprised to come across a jets while exploring the area! We’ve yet to be disappointed. The service and food is always on point! We will continue to do business with Jets of Johns Creek!“
“Moving from the 6th burrow of New York, otherwise known as South Florida, almost a decade ago, finding even a semi-decent pizza place was impossible. We stumbled upon Joes recently and it is like a breath of fresh air. We live in Cherokee county and travel to pick up here. My only complaint is that they’re so far from us. :( 10/10 recommend.“
“Combining the taste of India with pizza is brilliant. The pizza is great, and you can split to have two types in the same pie. Siri, the delightful co-owner, will take you through all the options before baking you a first class pie with edge to edge toppings.I am looking forward to trying the chaat pizza and byriani menu next.“
“Their gyros are legit! I especially love how they jam pack it with meat. Fries are crispy but their onion rings are too far along which is my only complaint. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean and the pricing is fair. Great place for a tasty gyro!“
“I been to This place several times but always for take out , so this review is limited to my take out experience I will also say that I m not much of a pizza guy but if I m going to have any in the ATL it's Izzy or Antico only. ATMOSPHERE/DECO Never sat down and ate there but it's basic. Nothing special but a semi open kitchen and you can see the pizza oven. Place always seems clean and inviting SERVICE Cannot comment on the service but never had any issues with take out and my orders have always been correct PRICE Prices are quite good. Very good value for your money My last order was Bruschetta Large Greek salad 10 wings Medium cheese pizza And the total was right under $50. This days this is a very good value. FOOD My to go order is usually bruschetta and cheese pizza. The bruschetta is good and pack with tomatoes and cheese. However it does get soggy fast so by time I get home the bread is not longer crispy but the flavors are good. Cheese pizza is what you want in a NY style pizza. Great dough. Very well cook. Perfect fold. One of best NY pizza I had outside of the big apple. This past time I also tried their wings and we a pretty impressive. I got the mild one and they were on point. They were on the extra wet side which I have no complain with as nothing is worse to go home with dry wings. They were more on the softer side which is my favorite, my wife on the other hand like her wings very crispy so she wasn't a fan on those. The menu also has a few Italian dishes like chicken Parm, lasagna, etc. Never tried those but will in the future. MISCELLANEOUS Plenty parking as the location is in a strip mall. Keep in mind they are close on Mondays. La note de Sebo Atmosphere/deco N/A Service N/A Food. 4.5/5 Price. 5/5 Miscellaneous. N/A OVERALL. 4.5/5 but since we can't give half stars, will give them 5“
“We ordered the meat pizza and a side of mashed potatoes for our kids. The pizza was probably one of the best I’ve ever had, my husband agrees too! It was perfectly seasoned and just right thickness of crust. The mashed potatoes did not disappoint and were perfectly cooked and creamy. The place is very clean, work staff is friendly. We will definitely return.“
“I called up to the store to make a reservation and the person on the phone spoke English and Spanish. They were very helpful in getting me setup and answered all my questions. The staff is very nice and Mark is so helpful. This is our second time having a party here. And that’s just the people! The food is great and the arcade is good enough that toddlers feel like they are at a casino.“
“I came in to order to-go because their website wasn’t taking anymore pickup orders. I was craving their garlic rolls which are the best I’ve ever tasted! I came in at 9PM because I looked on Apple Maps and it showed the restaurant didn’t close until 10PM, so I assumed I had enough time to drive up there and place an order. When I walked in, I was greeted by Matt, one of the managers, who informed me they closed at 9PM and I looked on Google to verify. He was real sweet to still let me place an order which wasn’t a large order. Really kind and engaging staff! Definitely one of my top hidden gems!!“
“We were in the area and hadn't visited this restaurant before, but knowing Mellow Mushroom wouldn't disappoint, we decided to check it out. The restaurant was very clean and bright. As we walked in, Ida greeted us and told us to pick our spot. Ida was quick to take our order and so pleasant to talk to...in fact I noted two kitchen staff bring out to go orders while we were there, and both, Amanda and unfortunately I didn't hear anyone call out the young man's name, but both of them provided exemplary customer service. I don't say that often, I'm a retired service level manager, so that word is exactly appropriate. They even opened the box and asked their customer if it looked good to them and thanked them for visiting. Now the food, we ordered the house special, of course it was excellent, and they didn't skimp on the toppings, the bruschetta was delicious. In fact, we ate it and some pizza slices before I even thought about taking pictures to share. It's roughly a 35-minute drive from my home, but we'll be back soon. My wife wants to go this weekend so our son can treat her ;) Thanks, Mellow Mushroom guys and gals!Parking: Tons of parking, it's located in a pretty large sized shopping plaza“
“My wife and I randomly stop by here. When I say this was the best pizza I ever had, it feels like an understatement. My wife said I reminded her of the pizza she had as a child growing up in Italy. Surprisingly, after asking about it, the guy told us every ingredient is imported from there. Including the water to make the dough! 10/10, will visit again. I like that you can't alter the pizza's toppings in any way. If you have to have a pizza done your way, go somewhere else. I'm sure it's a PH or Papa J's somewhere close by ?“
“Delicious pizza spot convenient to Alpharetta, Roswell, & Johns Creek! The staff is always friendly, very fast service, and their pizza is hands down some of the best in town! Fresh ingredients, wide variety of menu options....this is such a hidden gem!“
“We are always searching for new pizza places that have thin crust pizza. Thin like pizza's from the 80s. Nancy's was recommended by some locals and we gave it a try. There was only one group of customers there when we walked in and we were a bit apprehensive that it meant something about the food quality. Well, we were wrong. The servers were very friendly, and gave excellent descriptions on the pizza crust and toppings. The thin crust sausage pizza was one of the best we have had in years. We would definitely come back here on next visit through the area.“
“We were having a family gathering. We decided to order pizza and wings. There are an abundance of places but we decided to try a new place. Doli's didn't disappoint. Their wings are delicious (lemon pepper, Teriyaki, Mango habanero and mild). The pizza was hot, fresh and delicious. We ordered, Pepperoni with jalapenos, Chicken bacon ranch and Margherita.“
“The service was excellent, and the modern, open ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. We were greeted with warm, inviting decor and a friendly atmosphere. Food was wonderful. One of the best Italian restaurant. Ordered Brussel sprouts, NY style pizza, Cacio e pepe and Rigotoni arrabiata.“
“Love the food, the people and everything here. Must visit Italian restaurant around this area. The quality of the food in chains is deteriorating fast. And this family owned restaurant is making up for all that. Never going to olive garden etc anymore.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options“
“We stopped in last night after gymnastics practice and were thoroughly pleased. With all the amazing pizza places we have it’s hard to just rely on Papa John’s anymore. We got a Margherita and a St. Giovanni. Both were excellent and the crust was amazing. Even our picky 2 year old devoured the crust. The wine selection leaves a little room for improvement but overall we enjoyed our pizza and dinner! Thank you!“
“I’d never been to Vintage Pizza before Saturday Feb.4, 2024. I was attending a very fun party in the private room with a band, singing, dancing, and lots of conversation. About 45 people were having a great time. Vintage provided every kind of pizza, a couple of large fresh salads topped off by fabulous brownies and cookies for dessert. The pizza was excellent. There was plenty of food for all. The service was excellent. At the end of the evening, they had each person’s bar tab ready. No problems at all. I was very impressed and will go back again for dinner. Although the party was loud with the music, when I left the room I couldn’t hear the music in the regular dining area.Parking: In front of the restaurant.“
“Online ordering is easy. Pick up is easy. Mushroom and black olives, my son's favorite, is very tasty. The extra large we always get is left over which heats up deliciously in less than 10 minutes in the bake setting of my toaster oven.“
“Tried the Calzone for the first time during lunch, $9.99 special. You het to add 3 toppings. I chose spinach, fetta, mushroom adding sausage.Best Calzone...quite different from other vendors. I chose side salad and small drink. My only complaint was that the marina on the side should be warm instead of straight out of fridge.“
“Delicious classic medium crust pizza with fresh toppings and amazing sauce. Also tried the wings taking the recommendation to get extra crispy lemon pepper...chefs kiss! Pizza came out quick, great service, cool music, fun interior...will definitely go back and you should give it a try.“
“Antico Pizza in Alpharetta is a solid four-star dining experience that delivers on flavor and authenticity. The Neapolitan-style pizzas are undeniably delicious, boasting a perfectly blistered crust and high-quality, fresh ingredients. The menu offers a variety of classic and inventive topping combinations, satisfying a range of palates. The casual yet vibrant atmosphere adds to the overall appeal, making it a great spot for family dinners or casual gatherings with friends. The friendly staff contributes to the positive experience, providing attentive service with a touch of Italian charm. While the pizza steals the spotlight, some may find the limited menu options beyond pizza somewhat restrictive. Additionally, the wait times during peak hours can be lengthy, so it's advisable to plan accordingly. Despite these minor considerations, Antico Pizza in Alpharetta remains a top choice for pizza enthusiasts seeking a taste of authentic Neapolitan craftsmanship in a welcoming setting.“
“This is probably THE BEST Italian restaurant you will ever find in the Alpharetta/Roswell area. I'm not kidding. Almost everything here is made and cooked from scratch in their custom brick-oven (excluding pastas and salads). Their craft cocktails are $4 off on Thursdays, so their aperol spritz runs down to $3 (see the picture I snapped of the serving).Service is great and so is food! I have not a single complaint. Consider it champion.“
“An excellent ?? place, good service and super delicious and well served food, for me the only point against it is that they served me the food on disposable plastic plates. For the place and the price, that is a lot of lack of presentation.“
“I always passed by the Mad Italian wondering how good the food was, but today we decided to stop. It's a chill, no fuss, casual restaurant with plenty of seating near the bar with TVs, or on another side of the restaurant with no TVs. There is a large patio, which I'll definitely come back and enjoying tons of windows inside. The food was what I was looking for. Good, quality pasta and seasonings. I wanted the baked lasagna, but when we asked what our server suggested he ofcourse gave some pasta recommendations, but also....curve ball.....the Philly cheese! Errrr, who gets Philly cheese at an Italian restaurant. Since my husband ordered the lasagna, I thought I would try this Philly. Maaaannn....it wad soo good. The bread was soft, grilled, the meat was tender and I had it with mozzarella instead of white American, served with tots. The 10" is plenty so I ate half there and will enjoy the rest later. The tots were nothing to brag about, but good. Overall, if you're looking for good food, quick and pleasant service check them out.“
“Vitos is so freaking awesome! from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome! The food was fresh, and delicious. The owners were there and personally greeted me and made me feel welcome.... + the have coke zero!!Will be back again!“
“Hello, My name is Bonn Liang and I am a former chef for 'Seaworld of San Diego'. Living in New York City have taught me one thing about the big apple, I love New York style pizza!! It's thin, it's crispy, it's chewy on the inside. it's foldable that holds up well to toppings, it's the perfect meal for a late night hangover... and Mama's Pizza in Alpharetta, Georgia, is the quintessential New York style Pizza in the south. It's located at Northpoint Parkway, It's family owned since 1979, the atmosphere is light and cheery, there's an open kitchen with young waitering staff who are friendly and efficient and checks up on you to ensure you have a good experience. So if you have a hankering for authentic NY style pizza, with a crispy crust and a chewy crust, this will be your place.“
“Food was fantastic and service was great. It's a little cramped in there but the restaurant has some good vibes. Been passing this place so many times and it's busy for good reason. Can't wait until it warms up a bit to sit outside ...grab some drinks with desert....do lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Very unique menu so come hungry and a little brave. If you like sushi, I highly recommend the poke appetizer...if you love sushi...don't share it. You won't regret it. The service was excellent, especially for a busy Saturday evening.“
“Great location, friendly attentive staff and best Pizza in Atlanta!!! Thin crispy crust with great options for salads, sides and drinks! Food came out super quick and was perfectly cooked. You will have a blast with great bar and live music as well.“
“The bakery items are delightful! Purchased multiple pies for Thanksgiving (delicious). Came back and purchased some other items for a Christmas party and then again, purchased other items for a game night event, w friends, months later. Yummy stuff. Impress others, by bringing dessert to your next event.“
“Gluten free pizza is the best I’ve ever had! I’m not gluten free but it tied it for my mother in law who is. Romeos pizza is honestly the best. Their wings are amazing too. This is that nostalgic feeling pizza and wing place I don’t want to go anywhere for pizza. I’ve had a lot of pizza in the area because it’s the main thing we like to eat and I’m so happy we found Romeo’s because you get great pizza wings. Even the crust is good. We have done take out and eating in. Eating is chill, nothing special but a cozy spot to eat. No one’s going to serve you, which is ok! You go up order your food and sit down and someone brings it to you. Honestly don’t pass up an opportunity to eat here even your gluten free people can enjoy!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza, mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, gluten free pizza“
“The pizza us good, really good as good as the original store no matter what they say. What makes this location slightly less cool is the radically different ambiance. This is a suburban locale so it's missing the authentic gritty urban gentrified "chic" the other one has by spades. In Atl you are in an urban sort of industrial area near the cool lofts and the seedy bar and there's some hobos walking around plus the Ga Tech students staff etc. the inside is bright busy and the view into the kitchen transports you out of the usual Atl blandness. The Avalon location the interiors don't work as well. Of course everyone is familiar with the ridiculous table situation but once you're seated you get the pizza quick and easy. It's the same in both locations. Otherwise the pizza is just as great here.“
“Love it every time. We drive an hour because it's my family's favorite pizza. I wish they had a location closer! We've brought friends and they loved it as well. The food is fresh, friendly staff, and clean. We've never been disappointed. I just wish they still had the old location. ?“
“Went around 7pm. Was a little busy but the service was excellent. We had a beet salad, yum! Plus shared a white pizza with spinach and feta. It was excellent! We will definitely be going back very soon. Many options for vegetarians!Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies to select from. Large vegetarian Pizza toppings, I noticed a veggie panini that looked great, Lots of salad selectionsKid-friendliness: There were kids there and were very well behaved. They had a kid menu“
“We had a catered event last week at ST. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and your foods were fantastic. The chicken marsala was phenomenal. Lasagna - delish! The salads were also superb!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED CATERING SERVICE!Parking: 100% great!“
“My daughter and I recently enjoy the meal at Minnie Olivia’s Wood Fire Pizzeria! I had the dinner-sized portion of Olivia’s chopped salad, and my daughter had the child’s cheese pizza. We also had the Chocolate chip cookie skillet for dessert! Everything was delicious and the service was great! Highly recommend!“
“Great take-out place, amazing pizza. It’s bigger than the picture shows (I thought it would be small). It’s 6 nice-sized slices per box. I went in person because I wanted specific additions to one of the pizzas and the owner was extremely nice and accommodating. The place is kind of hidden within the plaza, but it’s directly across from the McDonald’s. The pizza is as tasty as it looks and the wings were PERFECTLY crispy. Loved them!We got the signature pizza and the margarita pizza (added pepperoni). The wings were a combo of buffalo and lemon pepper, another adjustment the owner was very accommodating about. If you don’t have adjustments you can just order online, but the wait in person was only about 25 minutes.Pizza was pricey but I could tell the ingredients were high quality so it was worth it. The wings were very affordable and I will definitely get more than a 10 piece next time.Parking: The building is way in the corner and the entrance is kind of hidden. The parking is plenty but if you want to park by the door those spots are also in that hidden corner.“
