“Went today for lunch. Service and food was GREAT!!! I had Japanese Ramen - which was very filling and delicious, and my friend got the hibachi platter. We had to try each other’s food, cause it was all so good. Had their Boba tea as well. Highly recommend! Mrs Raina (not sure of spelling) was a delight to chat with! Will be back!!“

“We stopped here for lunch. The variety of food items is fabulous. It was around 1:35 and o asked for the crab legs o had seen on the billboard and was informed they are served at dinner time starting at 3:30. The sweet girl who was not only the hostess, but also all around tue floor to make sure everything was fine, asked me if I wanted tue dinner price to include the crab legs. I expected to hear $50 or higher. She said $30. I also expected one cluster at a time. They came with a tray full of crab legs. Then she came with a second one, more generous than the first one. All very fresh and delicious. I’d stop by here every time she travel this way.
I-95, exit 104, Pooler Hwy, Georgia. Make sure to stop by, if you enjoy a variety of Asian foods and crab legs.“

“One of my faves for sushi in the area. Sushi rolls are small, but well priced and always good. I actually like the smaller rolls personally. Rangoon and entrees have never disappointed either. Always made quickly and fresh. Not really a sit down spot, great for takeout.“

“Tonight, we found Asian River completely by accident. We were driving by and decided to stop in for dinner. We had other plans and literally cancelled them as we ordered our drinks. Best decision we have made in a long time. It's nearly impossible to find good Asian food that hasn't been dulled down to basic bastardized random mall quality over-cooked corporate crap that we are all so very accustomed too that we think that is the way it should be, or worse yet, that it's actually good. Asian River is the real deal. You could tell everything was hand made. Higher quality ingredients. Vegetables fresh cut and perfectly cooked. Freshly rolled egg rolls. Freshly made Udon noodles. The general Taos chicken was perfection. An actual "sauce" instead of the run of the mill spicy hot sugar syrup. the chicken was cooked well and not hard or rubbery. The fried rice was an entirely different recipe than the normal fried rice you might get elsewhere, they make each serving of fried rice to order. It's absolutely magical. It has been a very long time since I have had food this good. The seating and Decor are fantastic , I especially love the Ikea flower lights. Even the wall color blue over blue just made my day. Our server, was very attentive and even though English is not her first language she seems to be doing well and making the best effort to communicate. There was a little confusion with the drinks, but it was just a matter of us taking a few extra minutes to ask questions and clarify. She did beautifully. The other server and the Chef stopped by as well and everyone was just wonderful. We are definitely making this our regular spot now. I am concerned about the other reviews. I was actually shocked to see so many bad ones and I am absolutely going to call them out. Most of these people don't know what they are talking about. I feel like the restaurant would be better received further north towards downtown or maybe out near Sandfly or the islands. This is not a fast food , drop in and dip out kind of place. This is a hidden gem that needs cliental with a broader pallet and significantly more patience. Absolutely worth every minute and every dime.“
