“Was recommended by a local. I stopped by to get a Passionfruit Boba tea. It was very refreshing and tasted great. The employee was also very friendly and it was worth the wait. I also was able to use the restrooms while I waited, so that was a plus.“
“Truly enjoyed this dish after visiting Painting with a Twist. It's conveniently located near it so a great place to eat after painting ?The food was delicious, fresh & truly filling. You get a choice of salad & soup! I had onion & salad with ginger dressing & it was delicious! My husband had the miso soup with shrimp sauce. Our server Jenny was excellent ? The ambiance was great as well!Parking: There was plenty of parking & it was free!“
“The original owner, Hirano's, has gone back to Japan and sold his businesses. Fortunately, the Abercorn location was the only store to inherit his precise recipes, consistency in flavor and service. Hirano had the bar raised pretty high for over 20 years.I prefer the Hirano's at the Abercorn location across from Armstrong State University. Their flavors, sauces and food are NOT watered down!Did I mention service? The restaurant has about 10 tables with various seating arrangements, plus bar seating in front the chef. Service is fast, so please don't be a table-hog. If you see more people coming inside, please release your table and continue socializing outside -- time moves fast when you are trying to enjoy a lunch break.Best Ginger dressing, shrimp sauce, gyoza sauce......well, everything. Over 30 years of loyal patronage and I have not experienced incorrect orders, poorly cooked food or watered down seasonings or sauces. Only AT THE ABERCORN LOCATION ACROSS FROM ARMSTRONG :-)PS - for tourists, ABERCORN is pronounced AB-er-CORN.“
“I am visiting my friend from out of town and we were craving Chinese and reminiscing on our times getting Chinese food from a place back at home. We came here on a whim and to say the least this was the best Chinese food I have ever had. Such a great choice! The service was amazing and above and beyond. Thank you for a yummy meal I will be eager to come back here!“
“I had the spring rolls while waiting for laundry, and I had to come back. I ordered chicken wings/rice with sushi , the food was fresh, well seasoned, and the service was quick. Everything ordered was amazing and i highly highly recommend it !!“
“Our family loves Flying Monk but yesterday it disappointed my husband and I. I was there yesterday. I let my friend try Flying Monk for the first time. She ordered Singapore Noodles & Edamame dumplings which didn’t disappoint her. I ordered Pad Thai which was good since the 1st time I’ve tried it few months ago and Chinese Broccoli. I also bought Chicken & Rice and Edamame dumplings for my husband (for take out). What disappointed me is the ton of garlic in the Chinese Broccoli that over powered the natural flavors of the veggie. Next time, please don’t do that, we’re not vampires! LOL! My husband also smelled something like “strong chemical smell” from the food when I handed him his lunch yesterday after his meeting. The red geisha drink was great and refreshing. We had a courteous and attentive server yesterday that made the experience overall good.“
