My second visit and it was even better than the first. Outstanding service! Everyone had smiles and were super friendly and helpful! It was a warm and welcoming vibe. I loved my food again. I had the Turkey wing plate with mac&cheese and collard greens. Everything was delicious! I definitely recommend the soul food egg rolls and the corn bread! Out of this world!
I’ve been faithful to another soul food restaurant in the area for a few years now, but now that I took a chance and tried this place….WOW!!! Delicious!!! Also, a little cheaper than what I was used to with good portions! The meatloaf, green beans, cornbread deep fried pound cake was very tasty!! The yams were ok. This will be my new spot definitely!
This place was ok. It has plenty of potential but I suggest they pick a friendly staff member to run the front counter. I'm not sure what her name was but she was dry, rude, & could careless about serving the customers. We ordered water with our food & told her we were dining in (for nothing). ? However, Tristian was so awesome! He was the sweetest! He brought us our food from the kitchen. He was super sweet. He apologized b/c he didn't know we were dining in...
