“Awesome service from the kid with the nose ring who took my order at one window and gave me my food at the other window. It was 30 minutes before closing. The fires were lukewarm but at least they weren't cold. Kudos to this kids hustle. It's the fastest service I have ever received from this McDonald's.“
“Stopped by after a Holiday concert at KSU and got the double burger wrapped in lettuce and a sundae and a Concrete oreo shake for my daughter and friend. The Woman behind the register with the accent was an angel?, I want to applaud her patience for me. I was clueeeeless about the menu since it was my first time. thank you whoever you are the burger and fries were PERFECT. “The family and I finally made it to Melt Yard! The food was great. I had a Hollywood Melt, my son the Kids Hamburger, and my wife the tacos. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. We loved the old skool arcade pinball machines! So much fun!!“

“Where to begin...this will be a long review, so, sorry in advance. Our experience with The Marietta Local began when I reached out to them regarding catering for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Since then, we have nothing but positive things to say. We have been dealing mainly with the owner, Jim, who has been extremely accommodating to us. Every phone call, meeting, etc. he has been our point of contact, which I feel like is rare. Before we even fully committed to Marietta Local for our catering, Jim invited us into the restaurant for a meal and told us to try whatever we wanted. We were not disappointed! We had meatloaf, nashville hot chicken, grits, quinoa salad, collard greens, plus a couple more items that I cannot recall at this time -- everything we had was spectacular! We were served quickly and the staff was so pleasant. We got to sit down with the chef, Emily, and talk through our menu preferences, and she assured us the one thing we would not have to worry about is our food, she had it all under control; which, for anyone who has ever planned a wedding and knows the stress, this was so re-assuring to us. I cannot say enough good things about Emily. She is an incredible human and an even better chef.That same visit, we got to meet Jim in person. His personality is infectious. You can tell he is genuinely so proud of his restaurants and I think that shows in the food and service they put out. While our wedding events are not until this weekend, 3/15-16, I can truthfully say I do not have a single concern about our food, but will definitely write another review or edit this one, post-wedding. I cannot wait for our family and friends to try everything that we have planned with The Marietta Local!TLDR; service and food is 10/10, whether it is catering or breakfast/lunch dine-in.
