Southern Restaurants in Quitman

“We have driven by this place several times, but finally went out of our way to go there for breakfast. We both had omelettes and they were great. The only reason I did not give it a five Is because it really wasn’t what I expected. With the claim of being the oldest restaurant in Georgia, I was expecting more of an older feel, and it to be more like a diner. the menu is very limited, and it is just a country feeling small town restaurant. I wish more of the history was highlighted on the tables, or with a hand out or something. We really wanted to love the place, but we didn’t have as many details as we like. We were obviously not known and outsiders because it seemed like everyone else in the restaurant knew each other. We were sad because all of the reviews rave about the buffet so we made sure to go on a Saturday, but the Buffet wasn’t open.“

“Both service and food were great. The music that was playing is exactly what I like to listen to however late 70s and 80s music doesn't pair well with the style and scale of restaurant that they have going there. We will definitely be going back.“
