A Richmond Hill gem. We had a birthday dinner here with 2 friends and had a great experience. Food and desserts were excellent. They have a fairly small and intimate dining area but we never felt rushed to vacate the table. It’s not a cheap place to eat but the serving sizes were ample for our appetite desires. Try the crème brûlée!

Fantastic restaurant with amazing, friendly service from Karen. Delish craft cocktails -- the peach margarita is divine, and perfect for a hot summer dinner. The grit sampler was fabulous, and the slow-braised beef short rib and a side of homemade macaroni and cheese was meant in your mouth delicious, just like Granny made it in the kitchen. Amazing Drinks, Fire Food, & Great Vibes!

Grit & Grain was a whole vibe! Makenna seriously killed it behind the bar — her cocktails were phenomenal. The Watermelon Mule and Pineapple Mojito were both super refreshing and full of flavor. Easily some of the best drinks I’ve had in a while.

Also… do not sleep on the French onion-style short rib sliders. Those things were unreal. Melt-in-your-mouth good with crazy flavor — 100%...
