Ricciardi's Pizzeria and Bar

I’m from the Chicago west burbs. Moved here to Savannah and never found any great tasting pizza in this area, until Ricciardi’s. The sausage-spinach deep dish pizza did not disappoint and seeing all the Chicago sports teams on the wall was great to see. Highly recommend this pizza! Best around.

This is one of the worst pizza restaurants I have ever in my life eaten at. . First off the value is actually terrible. We got calamari which included 12 rings for $12. When we asked why it was such a small serving we were told that's totally the normal way that they serve it. The pizza is absolutely tasteless. And that goes for the Chicago pizza. We gave them a second try thinking that maybe they're thin crust might be better and I've never seen my children actually put a slice of pizza down in my life so we actually had to have a second dinner. Do yourself a favor and don't even think you're gonna try and get Chicago Pizza in Georgia.

We moved to Savannah from the Chicago area this July for my husband's job. Although the food is great here, I was missing my hometown staples- there was NO Italian beef to be found, which is one of my favorites. I had just about given up until hubby happened upon Ricciardi's one day while running erands. He took me there last night for my birthday and I was not disappointed! It reminded me of a little South Side bar and grill, and the food was fantastic! Authentic Italian beef, baptized with sweet peppers! I felt some of my homesickness melt away. This will be known as "Da Beef" from now on for us! I can't wait to try the pizza!

Garlic deep dish is where it’s at! We always request Shane to make ours with garlic like he likes it. Tonight the server brought plastic ware which was fine but Shane came out with silverware without anyone asking. It’s like he read my husband’s mind. That dude is the real MVP!! And he always comes out to make sure it’s good. It’s always fantastic. Bingo music was pretty fun tonight too with the fam. Love it here!

Best deep dish pizza. Everything tastes homemade even down to the crust, sausage, sauce. Sooo good!

Parking: Not a huge parking lot but usually you can find one spot.

The Pepperoni Deep Dish is hands down the best pizza I've had in my 10 years living in Georgia! It's definitely a must. On a weekend, this place does fill up fast, though.

Tonight was my second visit to Ricciardi's and it did not go nearly as well as the first time. Things started out okay; we sat for several minutes before being greeted, but at least when the server arrived, she did introduce herself and smile. However, that was about it. While I understand there are many differences between chain restaurants and family run restaurants, some things are a given. For instance, someone should tell Madison, our server, that if a guest drinks all of their non-alcoholic beverage, bring another. Don't ask. Don't wait. Just bring it. There's no excuse for someone's water to ever sit empty. I feel even worse for the guy sitting near us; he had a Diet Coke that took ten minutes to be refilled. There's no reason I should have to get up five minutes after my food arrives to go get ketchup on my own because my server disappeared. There was no attempt at upselling an app, no attempt to bring me another Guinness, and I certainly didn't need the total of my bill announced to the room. I wish I had better things to say, but I'm extremely disappointed, and I'm uncertain I'll return.

Ricciardi’s is the spot! The deep dish pizzas are the real deal. We take the classics and add some giardianera and it’s just ridiculous. The wings are perfection too. I love the heat and if you can handle it, their hottest sauce is made in house and will light you up with heat and awesome flavor. The spiciest and most flavorful wings I’ve found. 5 Stars every time!

This was our first time and we will definitely be coming back. Our waitress Arianna i believe was her name she was amazing. She was very attentive and very helpful for our first time there. For appetizers we got the cheese curds and fried mushrooms they were amazing. My son also wanted a side of fries and they were fresh cut and cooked to perfection. For pizza we got the deep dish with pep, sausage, mushrooms and olives amazing the sauce has a homemade robust flavor which i love with pizza sauce. My son wanted a thin crust with pepperoni and that was amazing as well the crust was crispy but not burnt crispy and it was cut into squares also very tasty. This was by far my favorite experience for a new place. The atmosphere has a homey feel to it which i love. You definitely have us regulars!!!

Parking: When it gets busy it does make it hard to find space.

Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu with options other than pizza, from cheeseburgers to nuggets.
