"I recently dined at The Smoking Pig and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming and embodied true Southern Hospitality. Mediocre BBQ joint, right off the highway. We had a craving for some southern BBQ and found this joint while traveling through the area. The food was average at best, staff was ok and mostly friendly. Restaurant was pretty run down and had that "hole in the wall" feeling that we usually look for in a BBQ diner. However, as I stated, the food quality was barely average. The area was pretty rough. Make sure to lock your doors kind of area. I'm not sure we would visit...
Amazing from the time my husband and I walked in. Customer service was awsome helped us with picking out sauces and explained to us what came on plates. The kitchen also helped with our questions. Food was soooo good and fresh we had the Ribs with baked beans and Brunswick stew and Sliced chicken with turnip greens and Brunswick Stew. I would highly recommend this Restersunt. I would drive from Hinesville just to eat there again and again.
