“Saw the bakery when walking around after breakfast. Stopped on a whim and so glad I did! The vanilla and baked goods smell alone was worth the price. The sales associate was so sweet and helpful. Everything purchased was amazingly good. The chess bars and the cowboy cookies were my top favs. This is good stuff!“

The place was packed today but they were very organized and had two people per register and extra helped at the self checkout to keep the lines moving. “Me and my husband ate Crumbl cookies for the first time the other day. This location only had 6 flavors when I went. I expected more choices but these cookies were still the best cookies I’ve ever had in my life. Also… there were two girls working there when we went and they both had the best customer service skills I’ve seen in a long time. They were so nice and so welcoming. This place was so busy when we went but both of them were still so friendly and patient with each person. We visited this place on March 9th in the evening. “Met with Sierra to design our wedding cake and she was absolutely amazing! We taste tested multiple flavors and she was so helpful while we decided what exactly we wanted. She is really sweet and you can tell she really loves her job! Our wedding isn’t until October, but I already know the cake will turn out beautifully after meeting with her once. “Walked in needing a half sheet for a going away. Gave them a crazy drawing and color scheme. And they nailed it!And we requested a marble cake, that many bakeries don't like doing. They said, no trouble at all.Picked up, ready as planned.Everyone at work enjoyed the cake, and were very complimentary of the bakery. “Located along Lee Highway about a half block from Shallowford, it's pretty easy to find. The parking lot is small and a bit tight, but there are a good number of spaces available. I did not see any handicapped spaces near the entrance of the bakery, but that's not their fault. There are spaces adjacent to the building and more across a traffic lane.The restaurant is located in the rear inside corner of the shopping center. There is a sign above the entrance so it is easy to locate. Walking in, the baked goods case is on the left wall. We were greeted almost immediately by someone coming out of the rear kitchen area. The staff was helpful in describing the items. Our first visit was near their closing time, so there were not many items left. We did find a few we wanted to try. Our next visit was earlier in the day and the selection was significantly greater.I cannot identify everything we saw or even purchased, but I can tell you everything was quite good. The filled items had fillings like cheese, fruit, one was even ham and cheese. The others were more like sweet breads and muffins. It was very hard to limit ourselves when making our selections as everything looked so good. Tasting each item proved our eyes were good judges of flavor.Mary's Bakery is an unassuming bakery in an unassuming location that provides some excellent products. It is certainly worth your time to visit.“

“We always get great service and great quality at this location in Chattanooga. In November we had a slight mix up and they fixed everything right away. Extremely professional and kind. We highly recommend them and use them for all our family celebrations. I love the Red Velvet and my wife loves the strawberries and Cream!“

“Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the pastries, especially for the unbelievable prices! Perfect balance of sweet, as well as the wonderful fluffy or crispy textures depending on the pastry. Pop these puppies in for 3-5 minutes at 350 F for a fresh and warm taste and mouth feel. Even though you won't know what pastries are what, you can't go wrong with any of them! I enjoyed every single one I tried. I'll be back!“

“This was my first visit, but will not be my last. From the moment you walk in you smell the most fabulous scents ever, the ladies were informative and very patient with my many questions. My food was well packaged and brought to me in minutes. The food looked and tasted excellent. They have a huge selection so if you can't find something to like, then you obviously don't like cheesecake. They even have sugar free options. Will be back.“

“Dan the Cakeman was wonderful, and the cake was beautiful and tasty. My daughter's wedding was New Year's Eve, which was a problem since many bakeries were closed between Christmas and New Year's. A couple of professional bakers recommended Dan, and he exceeded expectations with his willingness to accommodate us. He was able to meet with us for a tasting with only a day's notice (I was only in town Friday-Sunday) on a Saturday, and we even got to take the extra cake from the tasting home! His business location was clean and attractive. He was friendly, even joyful, in demeanor and attitude, and attentive to details. My daughter wanted "bride and groom" chocolate-covered strawberries for her cake-topper, and he made those as well, with other chocolate-covered strawberries for guests to enjoy. Those were done to perfection also. Delivery was just as specified. I would highly recommend Dan the Cakeman!“

“Is it possible for this place to have a bad review? Delicious, stunning, fresh made baked goods that win me over every time. I’ve been getting the sweet sour dough rolls since I was a little girl. I nolonger live in Chattanooga so my mom brings them up to me when she visits. Anything you get here you will love. I highly recommend the walnut cinnamon bread! It is amazing. Yes, a treat from here is always a pleasure!“
