“My daughter and I were visiting from Florida, she googled for restaurants near us and 1885 Grill was suggested. Menu looked great and the prices are very reasonable, so we went! We had Michael as our server and he was beyond amazing!! So personable and professional. The fried green tomatoes were top notch!! My daughter enjoyed the burger. We liked it so much we went back there next day. My only regret was we weren’t in town longer!! Please ask for Michael, you won’t regret it!! Please let him know we hope he enjoyed Ruby Falls.“

Just so you don’t get lost the address is 3230 Wilcox Blvd. I had Lobster,Shrimp,Salmon,Corn,Potatoes,Broccoli and Mac& Cheese With Strawberry Pineapple and Blueberry Lemonade the First day ? and it was so good that I ate here everyday out the 4days here.???????????“

“The food was amazing. Everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed every meal we ordered! With only a few exceptions. 1. The sign out front advertised a $108 Mother’s Day special but when my parents went to order it they were told that it wasn’t available tonight. It was a typo on the board. 2. My sister, who is on a keto diet, ordered the 88 salad only to be told that they were out of salad. 3. After our dinner, my brother-in-law ordered a piece of key lime pie for my mom but once again we were told that they were out of key lime! So as great as the food is, and it was delicious, management really needs to get a better grip on what is in stock and what needs to be ordered especially on a holiday weekend!! “We just celebrated our anniversary here and we were absolutely blown away. The atmosphere was so cool and cozy. The service was excellent from start to finish… from the man that seated us to Maddie, our server who was very attentive and friendly! The food was phenomenal! So fresh and full of flavor! Very unique and nourishing. We started with whipped feta & pita. So flavorful! Then we had the lamb neck which was out of our comfort zone but I’m so glad we got it because it was amazing! Then we had the beef short ribs and a spicy potato dish. We finished off the night with the special crème brûlée infused with dates and Turkish coffee plus the olive oil cake. The drinks were very fresh and unique as well. I couldn’t recommend this place more. The chef and owner should be very proud!“

“Good night, y'all! The food here is GOOD! We had the Crab Cakes and the French Creole Pasta. The seasoning and sauce is where it's at. The crab cakes on top of the dirty rice with collards was so flavorful and delicious. And the seafood to penne to sauce on the pasta dish was spot on. I spooned up as much sauce as I could once the rest was gone. The chef brought out our dinner and then later the bread pudding. I've been curious about N'Awlins bread pudding, and this was a great introduction! The dish was 4 fried dough balls dusted with powdered suger served in a little iron skillet. The flavor that night was blueberry--so yummy! Thanks, y'all!“

“Went here for dinner and have to say the food was exceptional cooked exactly how we wanted. Had a filet mignon blue 9oz with lobster fondue and broccoli. My wife had the filet mignon medium with fresh fruit and for appetizer we had the bread and deviled eggs which tasted extremely good overall the experience was great food was great and service was great would recommend dining here.“

Parking: It is in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking in the lot for free

“Update: went here again on 3/12/25. Food was fresh and service was through the roof. The lady that was running the register was the only one on the front side. It would appear that her help called out or something and she was running lobby and drive thru, and was even bringing guests their plates which is something I have not seen at this location before. Absolutely the best tenders I have had in years, as was the hush puppies.
There was a line when I entered.
They worked it down in no time.
