Had to pick up some food for someone in the hospital who wanted a healthy meal, so I made a pit stop at Southern Classic Foods. Even though it was the end of the day and almost closing time, the food was exceptionally good. The chicken was fresh and hot, the greens were seasoned well, and the mashed potatoes were on point.

Wanted some soul food after running some errands with family but wanted a Black-owned spot. Found Southern Classic Foods and it did not disappoint!!! Good food, great service from Yaya!!!

One of my favorite soul food restaurants. I always come here by myself to just listen to music, eat and draw. The staff is always respectful and the place is beyond peaceful. I’ve never had an issue. The shrimp plate is really great and I just always enjoy my experience here.
