Coffee girl was slower than molasses. It wasn't even busy. Snails move faster. Not worth the wait for the quality.

I came in on Friday morning (6/12/26) to browse around. I had never been in before and will definitely be coming back! The shop is super cute and had items made from local vendors. The coffee was amazing! They have all different types of syrups and told me that they would soon be serving hot breakfast. Currently only pastries and they looked delicious. I’m not a fan of sweet items first thing in the morning but had to get one to try. The gentleman at the front was super friendly and did an amazing job juggling going to the back as well as assisting the ladies up front. I heard that they had recently moved into this location so I would give this place a try even if you see other reviews.

We came right when they opened on a Saturday morning before heading to the beach (the shop is a 5 minute walk from white sand). We are not fancy coffee drinkers, but their curated lattes look good, and our cappuccinos were excellent. The real draw is the pastries and the people though - get there right when they open for hot delicious pastries right out of the oven. We had a cinnamon crunch muffin and a hot almond fritter that were insanely good. My husband doesn’t even eat breakfast and he stole mine so we had to buy more (not a hardship). The girl behind the counter was perhaps the friendliest person I’ve ever met. She came outside to pet our dog (they are dog friendly inside and out) and stayed to give us all the local recommendations for seafood and adventure on St. Simon’s. The inside of the shop sells cute local fare and souvenirs that are a range of kitsch and cool, made by local artisans. 10/10 would recommend, but get there early because when we left the line was out the door. She mentioned that the shop had recently moved, so some of the other reviews might not be 100% accurate.

Not worth going there at new location!! Only three outside tables. That‘s all. Space is tiny and no room for more tables since it’s crammed with merchandise. Misleading picture on Google as of 4/30/26.

The avocado toast with gluten free bread was amazing! We ordered our coffees made half sweet and they were made perfectly. The hostess was very helpful and sweet.

Avoid at all costs unless you are trying ti be here for 2 hours. Talk about the slowest service to ever exist. Horribly managed.

Coastal Coffee is a nice little spot if you are looking for a relaxed marina vibe. The view and atmosphere make it an enjoyable stop, and the coffee itself is solid enough for most people to enjoy.

That said, if you are a true coffee snob, this probably is not the place that will wow you. My biggest gripe is that they do not serve drinks in glass or ceramic mugs, only to go cups, which takes away from the cafΓ© experience.

Overall, it is a pleasant stop if you want a casual coffee by the water, but not the place to go if you are chasing a high end specialty coffee experience.

I had a cinnamon scone there, while traveling through the state. It was the best pastry I have ever eaten!

Such a cutie little coffee shop right near the water! The coffee was good and the service was awesome! The baristas working were so nice! Loved that we could go sit by the marina area and enjoy the beautiful view of the water and boats
