“Kourtland was beyond amazing!! He’s such an asset and probably the best server I’ve ever had. He was attentive, knowledgeable, hilarious, kind, passionate and so much more. He deserves a raise and we will definitely be coming back just to see Kourtland.“
“I can't believe I slept on this place for so long! I've known about Muss and Turner's forever, but didn't really think of their pizza place as a spot to try. I finally wised up and gave it a go. Blown away! Best pizza in Atlanta. Better than Glide, Antico, or many other very good options we have around town, so that's definitely saying something. Like a Terminator, I'll be back.“
“This place was amazing!! As a Jamaican I can say this food is truly cooked by the hands of a skilled Jamaican chef and I saw her back there making magic!! Crystal was an excellent server and very nice and attentive. The ambiance was spectacular, they played Caribbean music most of my visit and had images of the island on the big tv as well as sports on the smaller tv behind the bar. I’ll be back for sure, many blessings!“
“The tower of power burger is an absolute banger! It is juicy and flavorful and I substituted caramelized onions with bacon instead and it was really amazing. A MUST TRY ?. The garlic Parmesan fries on the side were good but not great I would say. They have wide variety of dips and I really liked sriracha mayo with the burger and fries. The VIETNAMESE WINGS were just fireeee? loved the basil flavor and as the waiter mentioned it takes a lot of time for these wings so you better order them first if you’re ordering multiple things. The service was good but they’re only 2 for the whole restaurant so it took quite some time for asking anything else. But overall it is a MUST TRY ?? . I and my wife loved the food and the experience. Will be back sometime again to try the rest of the menu“
“Excellent variety of beers served in proper glassware. Beers taste bright without any off flavors, which indicates they clean their tap lines.Edit/update: Can't change my mind. Accommodating, simple and beers are on point.....always. I hate the current state of the beer market and can't help but love this place.“
“I loved the muffin and the coffee is also really good. I was disappointed by the fact that they advertise the food menu as “all day” but the proceeded to tell me that the kitchen closed at 2:30pm. As I was there, it was 2:50 so I missed it by about 20 minutes. On top of that, they were also short on change which is fine because I get it, you know? It happens. Just mostly disappointed by the false advertising.Vegetarian options: I’m vegetarian and they allow you to modify parts of the menu such as request a veggie patty in place of beef and omit any eggs from all dishes.Parking: Lots of parking in the back. Maybe about 8/9 spots in the front and more in the back.Wheelchair accessibility: While I don’t personally have a wheelchair, I am very aware of disability friendly environments and architecture. There was a ramp to get inside as well as the booths having pull out chairs for those who need the accessibility. No unnecessary steps or stairs to get in.“
“Moondog has such a large selection of beer! They had 40 beers on tap, with a refrigerator of wine (limited selection) and nonalcoholic beer too! They share a parking lot with some other businesses.Small space with limited tables and seating. We went on Saturday, 2/3/24, at 5:45 pm. It was already crowded, but there was a free table! By 7 pm, it was packed! They had live music when we went. There was a sign for trivia night too.I got the Mason Ale Works iPop! Tropical and it was soooo tasty and fruity and amazing. I also had the Yazoo Hefeweizen. Also good!Pretty cool and fun place. Very chill. Would definitely go back!“
“My wife and I have been to 2/3 of the Stout Bros. locations so far, and are eager to check out the 3rd when we're in the area. They're great venues for what we love: bring small board games and play them while checking out awesome beer selections in a place with friendly workers and good atmosphere.“
“Stopped by after work for happy hour with my friend, specifically for oysters during my Oysters Series @Queenfully_EatsThe raw oysters were only $1 & they were good. Their chargrilled oysters were a different story. Pimento& Jalapeños: definitely not my favorite, the spice overpowered the oyster. Bacon, butter & parmesan: no bacon for me, just parmesan and butter, not my fav!The cream cheese, spinach & panko was the ⭐️ of THIS show. I don’t know WHO thought of adding cream cheese to an oyster, but i like it!??Parking: You can find free parking in the back by the brewery“
“Best ribs in Atlanta that we've had so far! Better than DBA's, Pig n chick, and City BBQ. They were tender, juicy, and easily came off the bone. Definitely coming back. Collard greens and sweet potato pie were also amazing. Mac n cheese was just okay.“
“Walking in to Hopstix we were welcomed by the wide open space, clean lines, and minimalist decor. Our server, David Ramos, was friendly, explained Asian Fusion cuisine, and described specific menu items enthusiastically. We ordered baby octopus... a spicy, crispy, red adventure; Asian-seasoned corn-on-the-cob (who knew?); and panko-crusted chicken strips with curried veggies over jasmine rice. We were impressed. The flavors were distinct but not powerful. The spicy hotness was entertaining without burning. The panko was crispy on the tender, juicy chicken; the veggies... carrots, onion, and broccoli... were al dente; the currie sauce was mildly spicely over almost-fluffy (vs. pasty) jasmine rice; and the serving was remarkably generous. My guest tried the jasmine rice beer and enjoyed its lightness and slight aroma. Our desert was an exquisite coconut-encrusted Creme Brulee. The pace of service was relaxed so we were able to talk and laugh between servings and the attentive visits by David and bussers. A two-hour lunch is uncommon; we enjoyed every minute of our first experience at Hopstix, and will be brining our friends there soon.“
“This place was great! After an experience next door we crashed here and was NOT disappointed. We were greeted and reviewed the menu. Ordered the eggplant parmesan, meatballs, pizza and wine. We sat at the bar in front of the wood fire ovens. Got to watch our meals being prepared and had the most pleasant conversation with the pizza makers. The meatballs were FIRE! They were amazing, wonderful combo of meats and hand made…AMAZING. The pizza was also just the best pizza I have had in a long time. They finish with actual Italian olive oil which took the experience to another level. Then oh whoa almost forgot about their dessert. We ordered the pistachio cake and tiramisu. WOW, the dessert was simply beautiful and perfect amount of sweetness. Everything was fresh and amazing. All the employees there were wonderful welcoming and kind. Such a great place! Will be back for sure!!“
“Today was my first day ever trying the food at barley garden and when I say the food was absolutely amazing I had a sandwich called I believe the butchers bun. It was so good that I had to order an extra one to take home. I mean the service was great. The atmosphere was amazing. I cannot wait to have a ladies night there if you're ever in the area. This is a must try“
“Cool bar to try a number of beer and cocktails without needing to lock into a full drink is fantastic. Very cool environment and a good place to hang out. Something to still be worked on with the tabs on the 2nd/3rd floor being heavy foam. The staff was great and quick to help get the foam issues corrected and had great recommendations.“
“Stopped in at Bird & Brew on Clairmont on a whim. Near the Athens Pizza.. Best chicken wings I've ever had. The owner Sam is a well-known club owner originally from Korea who puts great pride into his wings. You've never tasted anything like it. I got the Lemon pepper which he marinates for 24 hours. This is not your average wing joint. Sam is also a great conversationalist and I made many friends at his bar. The next door space is also available to rent out for events and is very nice. Just wanted to spread the word because I had such a great experience.“
“Awesome location, and an amazing selection of beer, no matter what type you prefer, they have it, and if you're not sure, the friendly staff won't steer you wrong. Gets busy on the weekends, as they have a variety of pop up food stands there ? Plenty of outside seating as well. Love this place!“
“THE BEST!!!! I was introduced to Pinkies UP Beer & Wine through a great friend and they have always exceeded my expectations. Today, I went to purchase vegan wine and Mr. Terrell IS BACK! He was the person who told me all about vegan wine!!.. For those who know and love PINKIES UP BEER & WINE, know that Mr. Terrell has the best taste when it comes to beer and wine. He is articulate, kind, always has great energy and his skill-set is absolutely amazing. He was the person who got me out of my comfort zone and I appreciated it then and I definitely appreciate him now. I write all of this to say, go visit PINKIES UP BEER & WINE and say hello to Mr. Terrell....... Mr. Terrell, WELCOME BACK!“
“We just held our company's 25th anniversary party in Gate City's Artillery Room and could not have been happier with how the event ran. From the event management to the caterer they recommended, to the bartenders, who did an outstanding job. They kept the party moving and fun for our guests. What a fantastic venue and truly exceptional service. 10 stars, if possible! Thank you!“
“This place has got it all ! First off Great service ! That’s what we all want right? Lauren was simply amazing . Made me the best old fashion I’ve had in years! The food came out respectably on time and piping hot! OH and delicious! The large portions will keep you coming back! Check it out and don’t just take my word for it, experience it for yourself!“
“So the restaurant is open on a limited basis from Thursday to Saturday as of this date. But room service is available for guests at the malfunction prone Embassy Suites on 17th street. I called for room service during dinner rush. About 20 minutes later there’s a knock on the door - it’s the restaurant manager : “I tried to call you, “ he said. (the phone wasn’t working it appears?). He wanted me to know they had run out of what I’d ordered but he’d be happy to bring me something else for the same price. And then 15-minutes later he returned with my order which was freshly made and tasty. Give this guy a medal for good food and superlative service!“
“Food was great and ordering process was rather seamless. My only knock is on the price for value and although the food was great, it was a little pricey for a burger. The cashier did recommend getting the smaller size of fries for a group of 2 which proved to be a smart idea.Overall a great spot and would recommend for a solid burger and maybe it's just the rising cost of food but it's a little too expensive from my perspective.“
“This is my go to bbq when I am traveling to Atlanta and where I send people when they mention going to Atlanta. In over a decade, the consistent quality and delicious bbq, greens, cornbread, potato salad, brisket, and oh the ribs have never faltered. The gents behind the counter are always kind to a tired traveller who loves the food. We’ve had almost everything on the menu over the years. The chopped brisket sandwich is good good my kids will order multiple meals if possible.Love this place.Long time supporter of local team sports and community events.Vegetarian options: Very limited. Cornbread, Mac n cheese, dessertsDietary restrictions: Paleo and pescatarian friendlyParking: Tons it’s in the back of a shopping center.Wheelchair accessibility: Limited“
“Great selection for anyone who enjoys an adult beverage! There are 40 taps of craft beer, cocktails, wine and sake, plus a selection of fine whiskeys, rums, tequilas and other spirits. The beers on tap are only available at breweries or sold in small batches and the taps will change daily. To my delight, there was even an Other Half IPA on tap when I visited once, and to my knowledge, you can't find that beer anywhere in the state of Georgia. The bartenders are knowledgeable and attentive, so I always stop in when I'm in the area.“
“Maggie’s Neighborhood Bar and Grille, or Mags as us Emory students call it, is a good bar. I didn’t end up getting anything to drink besides water, but the onion rings were good. I give this place a 4/5 solely on personal preference that it’s a smoking establishment, and I’m pretty sensitive to cigarette smoke.“
“We walked in for lunch and immediately knew that everyone there was aware that the 2 of us were fatter and older than 5 years ago. Add to that the bartender, Mel, must've detected a hint of our retardation bc she mentioned on numerous occasions how to spell her name...the first test was drinks: I ordered us a "dunwoody house wife"..(1/2 water 1/2club soda 1 lemon wedge 1/2 cup of bitters shake it then pour it all out in front of strangers...its a treat) Lunch was delicious-spaghetti and meat sauce ...just like mom's as was Mel's glare as she watched us slurp noodles off the bar. Finally dessert and let me tell ya- the foreplay leading up to the actual decision to order promised an explosive finish- Tuxedo ?: frozen strawberry something with ice cream...we waited- we were actually giddy with anticipation...the moment had arrived -VOILA! 2 pickle spears a pack of mayonnaise and strawberry candy...an equally delicious treat. (UPDATE:We went back this week- we got the right soda this time but still can't recall how-to spell her name..)FYI if you show up at the right time you may ZZ top or the Morton fisherman in the corner (same guy...)Kid-friendliness: If you allow your 8 year to roll his own or turn a lucky in his hard pack then I guess it could be kid friendly but I'm gonna say not...“
“Have been a "regular" for a long time, but since nearly 100% WFH home, this has become my "second office" for lunch! Wether you have Nicole, Payton or Sidney as your bartender/server - conversation and service are top notch along with the food. Personally I go for the "black and bleu" burger when it's on special, but you can't really go wrong with anything on the menu!Kid-friendliness: Always kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Both spaces and restroom“
“Me and three friends went to grab some food. We ended up splitting 3 appetizers between the 4 of us. The food was absolutely incredible, and the portions were generous. It surpassed expectations. Our server was great too. I would highly recommend!!“
