“We love sushi and had eaten at all the nicest sushi restaurants in Atlanta except for this one, so we decided to try it. We had the premium omakase and it was AMAZING. This was both of our favorite experience - usually I prefer more fun and flavorful rolls (ie like Eight) and my husband likes his sushi more pared down (ie Tomo, Nobu, Mujo), but the sushi struck the perfect balance of letting the fish shine without being boring, adding a hint of flavor to enhance. I never eat wasabi but the wasabi relish was incredible - I put on every bite! John, our server, was professional and personable and made our dinner very special - great recs and accommodations! We usually dine out on special occasions (bdays, anniversaries) and it’s not uncommon for it to go unrecognized.. this was the opposite experience. Just a night out but it felt very special. We also loved the vibe- not stuffy or pretentious (some babies even which I don’t think is common but we didn’t care, they didn’t detract!) while maintaining high caliber of service and food. Overall, 10/10 and we will definitely be back. Our new favorite sushi restaurant!“

“Although the dining area is small, the food is what is of most interest here! The wings are only one of the stars at this small, unassuming eatery! I tried the sweet and sour wings, which are made to order, and from what I've heard, their lemon-pepper wings are the stuff of legend, as they have been featured in Bon Appetit' twice! I also enjoyed their Lamb Biryani, and it was absolutely delicious! The lamb had a spicy kick, and the rice was flavorful and tasty. Will definitely be back for other dishes!“

“They did not honor our Open Table reservation which was inside seating so we had to sit outside in the cold which we weren't prepared to do. The hostess was on the it's too bad side and basically said we didn't have a choice. The fire went out on the outside heater and we asked three different employees to get it up and running again. Finally after twenty minutes someone took care of it. We would have left but we had a concert at ASO so we were under a time crunch to search for an alternative for dinner. We ordered three tapas to share and one of them took over forty minutes which seems ridiculous. Food was good enough.“

“This is a hidden gem in Johns Creek! I visited on a random Tuesday night. I’m a bit of a foodie and can be a bit picky - that said, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. I had the salmon and chose to get it blackened. Despite my requesting it well done, the salmon was still so moist and the lemon vinaigrette drizzle accompanied the dish so well! I also had a spicy margarita and their crème brûlée for dessert. My total experience was amazing! Will definitely be back!“

“My wife and I go to a wine tasting couple times a year here. It is a little pricey but it is a fun thing to do and the wine is good and the food is excellent. They serve appetizers with each two pores of wine. Recommend getting a full glass of wine and a separate appetizer when you get there.

Vegetarian options: They can accommodate some vegetarian options. But many of their appetizers do have meat.

Parking: Parking is in a large shared strip mall parking area.

Kid-friendliness: This event is not for kids. Many couples are there spending an evening away from their kids!

Wheelchair accessibility: The space is on the ground floor. The door is a single door, but I don't know if there's any wheelchair accessible seating. Most of this is at a bar height.“

“Lantana has always been my go-to spot, especially because of Wendy. The service is consistently great, the food is always delicious, and the drinks are a perfect 10 out of 10. I’ve been coming here for years, so I was a little disappointed not to see Wendy this time. I actually decided not to stay because, honestly, I’m not familiar with the other staff.

I really hope Wendy is back soon, she even knows my daughter’s favorite drink, a Shirley Temple with extra cherries. You just can’t beat that level of service. Hope to see you soon, Wendy!“

“We were late for our reservation due to lane closures and Atlanta traffic. They were still able to accommodate us. We had a lovely meal with top notch service. Lindsey(sp?) was our waitperson and all the other servers made sure our water glasses were full and the table was cleared. It was a perfect place to dine before the concert at Symphony hall.“

(Wine tasting dinner and regular dinner) The decor is casual but very elegant and understated. The space works for both brunch and dinner very well. Reminds me of lot of Bistro VG. Whites, creams and lots of windows The service was excellent on all 3 visits. The crafted cocktails were spot on. The FOOD was carefully curated and delicious. At a glance it may seem pricey but there is something for everyone’s budget and tastes. The pasta dishes and mushroom toast are excellent. Do not skip this beautiful restaurant in Alpharetta.
