“What a wonderful food experience. This is a must stop on your next food adventure trip. We loved everything about it. Everything was delicious. The flavors were layered in every dish we ate, and we found ourselves using the menu as a guide to our fresh food experience. The owners were on site to maintain the integrity of their restaurant. This was by far the best meal of our thirtieth year anniversary food travel trip.”

“Small and cozy local spot with the best food in the area. The owners and chefs obviously care about their food with the best combo of flavors and ratios of meat/cheese/veggies/bread/fat content. Where most eateries just fry all their foods and don’t care about flavor - this place is the opposite. As a vegetarian, there were plenty of veggie options, the owner stating they’ve taken chicken stock out of many items to make them veggie friendly. Their menu is not large but covers so many areas. GET THE BISCUITS. I love biscuits and these were perfect, with a crisp top without being too oily. Also, prices are very reasonable. Looking forward to coming back!Vegetarian options: Have a sub with lots of veggies that isn’t just loaded with cheese. Most soups are vegetarian. Breakfast options.”

“This is our second time coming up to the area for a little vacation away from busy Orlando FL area. We are in love with the town and nearby trails/helen. It’s our new tradition to stop into Clyde’s the first night we arrive and once more before heading back home. Each time we’ve had the most wonderful encounter with the best staff. Specifically Trudy & Brenda. They are absolutely angels and we love getting to see them when we come in! They always make us feel so welcome and like we are part of the town! The food is absolutely delicious as are the cocktails! I wish I could pickup Clyde’s and bring it back home with me! I got SO MUCH ICE CREAM it was kinda hard to finish it all lol. Our server, I forgot her name, but she was so sweet and hilarious, she gave us STACKS of ice cream. I was laughing so hard I cried. “The cleanest! Best run restaurant anywhere near Cleveland. Food is highest quality! Fresh! Generous servings. Ask for the housemade "special green salsa" with your chips..memorable!!! “The fried chicken was delicious!! The skin was so crispy and crunchy! The biscuits are light and fluffy, absolutely scrumptious! The fries could have been a little crispier for my taste but they were good. Sitting outside enjoying the beautiful Spring weather was great! Our server, Terri was terrific! She was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the area! We also met Mully, the owner. Everyone was so friendly, with great atmosphere and fantastic food!”

“This afternoon we celebrated my mom's Birthday. Her first time eating here. Some had the buffet line, some had the grill menu. Everything was great! One particular worker, angel was so nice to my momma after she fell from her getting up from her chair. She stayed with my momma until the paramedics came. I forgot her name, but I told her thanks for everything she did.Best homecooking we have had! Grist service, wonderful prices. Definitely will be back!”

“Our first time to visit and it was all good. Quality of their creative menu items and combinations were well done. Staff was friendly and attentive - a welcomed surprise these days. Price/value/experience relationship was excellent. Counter, kitchen, dining area, bathrooms, and parking area well maintained. I had the Mouth of the South burger. Cooked to temp correctly and came with bacon, fried green tomato, pimiento cheese and hot fries. My wife had a deli sandwich that was delicious, lots of sliced Turkey, and potato salad. The potato salad was OK. We'll be back with friends even though it's a 20 plus mile drive down and back over the mountain. It was that good of a meal.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free bread for an option with an up charge. It was very good product.”

“I specifically went to Helen, GA on a weekend while I was in Blairsville because Heidi Haus is only open on weekends. I was so disappointed when Heidi did not open at noon! I don't know what time they did open, but they were open as I was driving out of town, so I parked the car and got the combination platter to go. I am so glad I did! Heidi Haus was worth the drive, even for a Polish girl who was looking for good pierogis and kielbasa on Easter weekend. I'll be savoring the meal all weekend! The stuffed cabbage could use more seasoning, other than that, everything is delicious. (While waiting for the food, I learned that the server had called off. They opened late because the server who came in had to drive from Blairsville.)”

“One of our favorite wineries! The wines are excellent, staff is friendly and helpful. They always have music on the weekends. You can bring your own food or they have some charcuterie items or purchase. Great outdoor area with lots of tables. There is a also an area with fire pits and a dome you can rent. Dogs are allowed outside only. They have a small indoor seating area as well. (no pets inside on rainy days) Would highly recommend!”

“Everyone has already said everything! The food is excellent. My boyfriend is super picky about bbq and he ate all of his pulled pork…that has never happened. The owners are so nice and super sweet to our pups. They brought out some treats and a bowl of water for them. One of our dogs was trying his best to get in the kitchen. Don’t pass them by.”

“Our friend’s brought us up to this beautiful little town and had to have us come here to visit this hidden gem popcorn shop. You are able to taste any of their flavors that they have made, the staff are lovely, the back deck looking over the river is very nice too. You are able to check out and hang out there if you are purchasing anything in their establishment, which by the way is what I call “ common sense “. They are very nice people with a great shop and we cannot wait to return the town next time and buy more goodies from them.”
