Okay, one of those restaurant makeover shows would have a FIELD DAY with this one:
1) tv over the bar was dead and had a layer of grease coating every inch, ceiling tiles broken and disgusting, specials menus looked 10+ years old & warped
2) kitchen looked dark with missing light bulbs - not ideal for food prep
3) my son and i both had gastro intestinal discomfort afterwards

Hostess was rude. Service was not good. Came back and told me you didn’t have what I ordered and recommended something else. It was a smaller portion that what she said, was greasy and just not good.
I have works in food service and didn’t take this out on the server. Still left a good tip. None of us had anything good to say about our experience.
Tonight was our firstly visit to Kanpai. There were several vegan-friendly dishes to choose from and everything we got was delicious. Great service, too! Looking forward to going back soon.
