“Had lunch here yesterday. Atmosphere was inviting, low light music playing. Place was clean. Service was great. Waiter/Bartender, didn't catch his name, but he had a wonderful personality and he provided us with great service. We didn't have long wait time on food. Food was great. Fried green tomatoes and mozzarella bites. Can't remember what my friend ordered. It was a bowl of something that looked very good and she enjoyed it. They have plenty of healthy options to chose from, that I didn't do. I had the 5 spot smash burger added bacon with fries. Their sauce that they put on it was great, didn't need to add anything more. Bacon was quality, veg was fresh. Fries were crisp and very tasty. I feel the prices were fair. The proportions were fine. All around great experience. Yes, I'll definitely be back to try other things on their menu. Thanks for giving a great experience!“

“Found Kayak Kafe on Yelp and decided to give it a go. The parking lot was packed which we believe is a good sign that the food is good but we may have to wait. To our surprise there were still a few open tables so we grabbed a seat. We started off our meal with a Cucumber Lemonade. It was light, tasty and very refreshing. I ordered the Turkey Cubano with Turkey Chili and my wife got the Lime Chicken Tacos. Everything was simply delicious. If I lived in Savannah then this place would be a must go to weekly. “We came here for Sunday breakfast/brunch and holy crap! It was so good! The biscuits are worth the wait alone! The decor is so unique, you can feel the history in the walls but it’s also been updated to a modern feel. The menu choices are expansive and may cause stress on which delicious item to pick! I really enjoyed my Bay Street Scramble, and the rest of my party enjoyed their breakfasts too! Service was pretty good, not super fast but it was also super crowded. We got in without a reservation in under 20 minutes which was great! Highly recommend!“

Manager and waitress-in-training at Double Wide were so hospitable and friendly. Highly recommend checking out either of these locations.“

We even like the order at the bar, vs at the table kind of service, but it sometimes it would be nice if there was a little bit more service. It's hard to explain, but sometimes it's like there are almost no employees working ... Like you could be there for a while and not see an employee, but maybe that's because we go during the week around lunchtime.“

“Definitely not a place for a picky eater, but the food was excellent. The collards were off the hook ???!!! I had the French dip flat bread and a side of crisps (flat fries), but tasty. My wife had the deep fried chicken pot pie w/o the pico de gallo. She is use to “old fashioned” pot pie, but she ate outside her comfort zone.“

“We have eaten here at least six times and it has always been exceptionall. My only complaint is that they removed the traditional eggs Benedict from the menu and replaced it with a very different version. I absolutely loved the old version. new one not so much. Bring back the traditional ones!“

“My husband and I travelled to Savannah for the weekend and I had made reservations ahead for Fleeting. When we arrived we chose to sit at the open kitchen bar area. The chef Alex was amazing to watch! His mastery of the wood burning oven/grill was awe inspiring. I had a lovely pork chop but wish I had chosen the steak. I highly recommend Fleeting if you like the open kitchen concept of if you just like a fine meal in a lovely but relaxed setting.“
