“We came here for Sunday breakfast/brunch and holy crap! It was so good! The biscuits are worth the wait alone! The decor is so unique, you can feel the history in the walls but it’s also been updated to a modern feel. The menu choices are expansive and may cause stress on which delicious item to pick! I really enjoyed my Bay Street Scramble, and the rest of my party enjoyed their breakfasts too! Service was pretty good, not super fast but it was also super crowded. We got in without a reservation in under 20 minutes which was great! Highly recommend!“

“Tonight we had what we have both stated was the best dining experience that either one of us have ever had. Common Thread Savannah offers an experience called the Chef Counter which was an 8 course blind taste offered by the Executive Chef Joseph Harrison. Each and every item were prepared in such unique ways that one would normally not think of. But I'll say everything was mind blowing. Everything was on point and every member of the staff were just as amazing. So if anyone wants an awesome dining experience then you have to visit this restaurant and do the Chef Counter.“

“I'll admit that today wasn't the best day to go b/c it was in the 40s, but we enjoyed the lack of a crowd and sitting out in the bright sun under brilliant blue skies. Such a great spot to have a meal or have a couple of beers. My husband had the cuban, while I had to go local with the fish tacos. The best and rice were awesome and the cilantro could not be fresher as it was grown out front. Friendly staff and lots of parking.“

“Café located in the JW Marriot. Great option for breakfast, brunch and lunch! You can order quickly at the counter, a la carte or a very complete breakfast buffet!
We were very well attended and all the dishes were delicious. The Greek yogurt with fruit easily serves two people. In fact, all the dishes are very well served. Highlights include the eggs benedict, which was the best we've had in the city so far.“

Waiter/Bartender, didn't catch his name, but he had a wonderful personality and he provided us with great service. We didn't have long wait time on food. Food was great. Fried green tomatoes and mozzarella bites. Can't remember what my friend ordered. It was a bowl of something that looked very good and she enjoyed it. They have plenty of healthy options to chose from, that I didn't do. I had the 5 spot smash burger added bacon with fries. Their sauce that they put on it was great, didn't need to add anything more. Bacon was quality, veg was fresh. Fries were crisp and very tasty. I feel the prices were fair. The proportions were fine. All around great experience. “Found Kayak Kafe on Yelp and decided to give it a go. The parking lot was packed which we believe is a good sign that the food is good but we may have to wait. To our surprise there were still a few open tables so we grabbed a seat. We started off our meal with a Cucumber Lemonade. It was light, tasty and very refreshing. I ordered the Turkey Cubano with Turkey Chili and my wife got the Lime Chicken Tacos. Everything was simply delicious. If I lived in Savannah then this place would be a must go to weekly. “Wow! We sat at the bar to enjoy the unlimited mimosas and they were so great. I got the crab cake benedicts....they ran out of fresh eggs was sad about that....the beet hollandaise was different but good, wished I asked for more. My husband had the steak and eggs. Steak was smoked and shredded apart...so yummy! We waited until the oysters were available...they were delicious! The atmosphere and staff here was so pleasant and peaceful. We weren't rushed away by the staff after sitting for 3 hours which was nice. My Husband and I enjoyed our date brunch! Definitely going to be our new brunch spot!“

My wife had the deep fried chicken pot pie w/o the pico de gallo. She is use to “old fashioned” pot pie, but she ate outside her comfort zone.“
