The Pirate’s House is a neat spot with a lot of history and character. The building itself is very old and full of charm, and it’s interesting to walk through the different rooms and read about the past.
The food was good — classic Southern dishes with generous portions. We tried the fried chicken and shrimp & grits, and both were solid. Service was friendly and helpful.

It was our first time dining here for my birthday. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. The house made steak sauce was delicious. My husband and daughter had the pork tenderloin-also delicious. My daughter’s fiancé had the Parmesan tilapia. Also delicious! Our server, Darien, was attentive and very helpful with his recommendations. We didn’t get dessert because we were too full from dinner.
Great food and friendly staff. Highly recommend this restaurant when in Savannah.
