Viking Alchemist Meadery Brewery • $$$

“Charming venue with fun, passionate staff and overall nerdy camaraderie! Drinks are not as sweet as I prefer, but I had tried the experimental flavors; I do recommend the house Ethereal (peach). I would come back with friends to play the board games!“

Mandatory Fun Beer Works Brewery • $
3080 Jonquil Dr #B, Smyrna

“This is a fun find on a Sunday afternoon. We tried different types of meads and beers. The decor is amazing. There are several fun murals to find little things on the walls and counters. I highly recommend coming in and trying both types of products. What really up the game was mixing seltzer water into it. Yummy ????! Come with a group or come talk shop. Almost everyone working here are veterans and have served our country. Thumbs up for more than many reasons.“

Urban Tree Cidery Brewery • $$
1465 Howell Mill Rd NW, Atlanta - 8.4 miles

“. If you love cider, you will LOVE Urban Tree. If you don't love cider, Urban Tree will make you LOVE cider. Hands down the best cider I have ever had.. The staff are always Incredibly friendly, even the bouncer, and all interactions are easy-going.. Depending on when you're there, it can be quiet, which can be a pro or con. Additionally, it's in kind of a strange building, but don't judge a book by it's cover.. I always like to conserve money, so I don't go crazy when I visit, but definitely reasonable prices.“

The Woodlands Project at SweetWater Brewery •
195 Ottley Dr NE, Atlanta - 9.28 miles

“This is the Woodlands project of Sweetwater brewery, which is rentable event space and where barrel aged beer rests. Open to the public on weekends, check the times. The beers on offer here are excellent, unique, and widely appreciated by different pallets. Beers aged in wine barrels take on the character of wine, which was a new flavor to me. The space is beautiful and impressive. It’s very cool to be able to sip some drinks while wandering around rows of barrels.“

Dr. Scofflaw's at The Works Brewery • $$
214 Chattahoochee Row NW, Atlanta - 7.38 miles

“It's great having a brewery at the works location. It's clean and spacious with loads of seating. Quick service. Picnic table seating. Great selection of beers, hard seltzers and slushies. There's even a selection of drinks for the kids for those of us that bring our kiddos. My husband loved this place for its many TVs providing a variety of sports game viewing. Scofflaw is known for their IPAs, I am not an IPA fan but they have a nice selection of lagers, stouts and sours. I tried their POC basement IPA (fruity), dirty beaches (American pale), lager and strawberry sunrise seltzer. I really enjoyed their lager, crisp and light. The POG had a definite fruity taste that wasn't bad but still not a fan of IPAs. The hard seltzer was yummy for a hot end of summer day. And last was the dirty beaches, not my thing but definitely could be a fan favorite for IPA lovers. Either way, this place is great to have at the works, great vibe and close enough for me when I just want to hang with friends and family with a great selection of drinks.“

Scofflaw Brewing Co. Brewery • $
1738 MacArthur Blvd NW, Atlanta - 6.3 miles

“I've had Scofflaw beer before but have never been to their brewery. Located in the West Midtown area, we made a hike here but thought was worth it. It was a super cold afternoon so there was virtually no one hanging outside. Their outdoor area had a big tv screen, bocce set up, basketball and tons of tables. Would make a perfect hang out spot once the weather warms up. They had tons of tables inside as well and the center of the public area of the brewery is where you can order your beer. As I don't really drink, they had options of hot cocoa and hot cider where I ordered the cider. They also had bags of snacks like chips or cookies for $1. They had a few TV screens inside as well. People here are super friendly. Will definitely come back here just to hang out once it gets warmer again.“

Steady Hand Beer Co. Brewery • $$
1611 Ellsworth Industrial Blvd NW UNIT F, Atlanta - 7.87 miles

“Approaching the brewery, I noticed they had a huge parking lot, but it desperately needed repaving. There were potholes everywhere. I quickly snagged a spot, and we entered the Tap Room. The place was huge with seating everywhere. They have a stage for live music. The website said someone would be performing from 3-6, but when we arrived, the band was packing up their instruments at around 5:15. Wifey and I, along with a group of fellow beer enthusiasts, didn’t miss the band and were chatting it up, keeping the night going. SteadyHand has a nice-sized bar, and we came here specifically looking for the Cloudland Hazy IPA, but when we checked what they had available, it was not listed. Wifey ordered a Lager, and I opted for a DIPA called Gimme the Lup. We took our beers and joined the group. We were good after one round and headed out. We would definitely return to try some other options.“

“Every time I come here I leave the night drunk and full of laughs, haha. I love their wide selection of beer & seltzer options, and their bartenders are amazing and always easy to talk to! We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and they were extremely accommodating!! We had about 15 people and were able to reserve one of their private rooms. Their on-site food vendor was A-MAZING and definitely went above and beyond both in food and customer service. 1000/10 would recommend this place whether you are just wanting to hang with a few friends or bringing people together for a celebration!“

“I went to a surprise party that was held downstairs. It was perfect! Our bartender, Taco, was amazing. She sang and danced with us, also had our drink orders ready in a timely manner. The food was great, too! We had beef empanadas, chicken empanadas, cheese empanadas, and also spinach cheese mushroom empanadas.
