My husband and I found out about this place from a waitress in the local area. I was hesitant at first because I am use to authentic Mexican cuisine from California. Let me start off by saying that I wasn’t disappointed. The food is Delicious ?. The service was excellent and my entire family finished their plates, including my 2 year old. Im happy to say to all of the California residents that this is the place to go when you’re craving an authentic burrito or taco.We will definitely come back to try more dishes!

I love this place! El Guerra has an extensive and interesting menu. Even their child's chicken plate is amazing for it flavor, portion and value. The tamales (we love the pork ones and the chicken ones) and the Pasteur burrito (a marinated pork version)---and the size of their burritos are astonishing. The food is super fresh and authentic and the patrons are mostly of Hispanic descent which o take as a GOOD SIGN of GREAT FOOD. Also --checkout their seafood soup . It is a spectacular and true seafood feast.

I’ve been going to Taqueria El Guero for a few years and had the WORST experience recently. I placed my order over the phone as usual. When I get to Taqueria El Guero it was busy and a line. As I was standing in the line, a guy comes from the back and started calling take out orders. I then went over to the line where this guy was giving take out orders. He completely kept skipping over me and giving out orders to other customers. The last customer that was behind me, tells the guy I was next. He STILL ignored me and waited on the other guy behind me. Not sure why he ignored me. Maybe because I’m not Hispanic? I left and left the food. No one called to check and I won’t be going back to Taqueria El Guero.

The service was great. I wanted the real deal tacos so looked for a taqueria. As a Mexican, I can say the tacos were not good. The tortilla tasted like those Mission ones bought at Walmart. The steak wasn’t seasoned at all. I don’t think they even put salt. I was expecting better. Maybe I should have tried something different. For a taqueria, at least the tacos should be good. The agua de piña was delicious.

Bad service and poor quality, a little kindness would be much better, high prices for low quality and very bad service from those who serve, never come back to this

The food tastes better to me in all of Smyrna and Marietta, but they give the food in cash, you can see the sun on the chicken breasts because they are so thin, in the end you have to spend 50 dollars to fill yourself up ugh improve the portions ohh and when you ask the employees why so little food orders from the owner, so don your knowledge is the best but change the quantities

Seriously good tacos. Fresh ingredients, a good beer selection, salads bar with all the fixings....the limes were a little dry but the steak tacos and beans I ordered were so good that I didn't even care!! This is my new taco spot when I'm in Smyrna.

If you're looking for west coast style Mexican food this is where to go. Great food and service and even when they are busy it's worth the time.

The food is amazing and the portions are good. The atmosphere is more like a cafeteria, than a regular restaurant. It is self serve, they give you a number in your receipt and when called, you go to the side counter to pick up your food. I love the sopa de res (beef soup) El pescado a la plancha is to die for. (Fish cooked on a flat top) tacos are awesome as well. My favorite is the different stews and soups. Kid-friendliness: They also have fries and stuff like that for kids, having said that, I MUST say that Latin American kids eat quite well, just like mom and dad. Wheelchair accessibility: My friend, with whom I go there is handicapped. This is good for him. They have a nice concrete ramp

Food is amazing. So far I've gotten fish taco, lengua, pastor, and asada tacos.very bomb. And I got a pollo burrito for work. I've been two days in a row. Today I'm trying the horchata, and a tried and true Californian... this is top 5 horchatas I've ever had..definitely glad I found this place... it's like I'm in California! Excellent sauces too. With fast and friendly service. Casual atmosphere.

Perfection. Mexican food can be great without being authentic, and it can also be authentic without being good. Taqueria El Guero is both authentic and incredible. Don't go for the ambiance; it's not fancy. Do go for outstanding food, including a very good salsa bar. Solid value, as well. Significantly better food than any Mexican restaurant on Buford highway

Ok Mexican restaurant. I found the food to be a bit too salty. Taco la villa
