“Every time my mother and I visit Trends Urban Cafe, we leave satisfied! There isn't a dish so far that we've tried and not liked! The food is very tasty and flavorful. Some dishes we've enjoyed there are the fried green tomatoes, bourbon collards, cauliflower bites, jerk salmon quesadillas, blackened salmon sandwich with those awesome cilantro parmesan-garlic fries, steak hoagie, and the current running special which includes blackened salmon, curry cauliflower rice with kale, and Naan bread on the side. I may not be using the exact names on the menu, but I can honestly say that each dish was great and left me wanting for more! We're not a vegan, but you couldn't tell the way we enjoy their food! We look forward to our next visit!“
“It is a great place for burritos. They are huge!!! we normally eat two in other places... here I couldn't barely finish the half of one. Very friendly people. The only thing is the location... that gas station is a bit scary...but other than that perfect for take out.“
“Overall we enjoyed our time/food at this restaurant. While It wasn’t a huge deal, in part because it was such a beautiful day to sit and relax on their well-put-together patio (with their great selection of music!) and though they only had 2 other diners, besides us…service was slow. But, as fortune would have it, we landed/lucked into arriving during Happy Hour, but it turned out to be 1/2 Happy when our $5 Margarita Mock Tails, came to us, we were informed that us that it was not possible for them to execute a frozen Virgin Margarita…something about their mixer and how it was not conducive to the likes of ice and a blender. I didn’t mind, as I ordered mine, exactly that way, but my friend was a little disappointed, that they did not give her the opportunity, to order a different drink of her liking because they have a generous selection of drinks of the fruity persuasion and quite possibly, at least one of them had to accommodate her frozen drink preference. As we sipped along, shedid report it passed muster and had a stable position on her likability scale. I was digging mine, though they overlooked my request of a salted rim. Word to the wise-I wouldn’t consider it a traditional margarita, as there was club soda in it and while I appreciated the fresh lime juice, it really tasted like the base of a mojito…minus the alcohol. On another note, as we soaking up the sun and some fun-we noticed they had table-top “fire places” (forgot what you call them) and stand-up heaters and we thought that it would be inviting for some after work ambience, with a side of comfortability and possibility of a realistic patio plan on those chilly evenings-nice touch Guac Taco! Like I said, overall we enjoyed ourselves-we would recommend it to others and without reserve, return happily in the very near future! Oh and not unlike Trend Urban Cafe-they offer complimentary and freshly herb-infused water, which always is a winner in my book! Also-their space was especially clean and the women’s bathroom followed suit! So make a Guac Taco Trip and see for yourself, why so many reviewers are advising others to refrain from overlooking this new gem on Stone Mountain. And really, tell me-where you can come across a quality and freshly-squeezed lime margarita for $5!?! Lastly…don’t forget to sign-up for their Customer Rewards Program. Godspeed and Bon Chance!Vegetarian options: All I can think of presently, is the Portobello Mushroom Asada and the Vegan Taco TreatsParking: Unfortunately- there is not parking right at restaurant’s curb, which would have been helpful to disabled people, butthey do have a ramp which is right in front of the establishment.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a little far from the car to the ramp, but I just had my friend drop me right in front of restaurant at the ramp…easy peezy!“
“I’m all for supporting small local businesses, especially black owned. I honestly thought it was gonna be Mexicans working the truck so it was a shock to see it was an ebony man. There was a twist seeing how it was made by a black guy. It was different but in a good way. I got jerk chicken and two steak tacos and I wish I’d gotten more sauce for my tacos, only because I like a LOT of sauce and they were some nice size tacos so sauce on each bite would have been better. But they were definitely really good. I like to try different places authentic tacos to taste how everyone can do their own spin on something as common as tacos and it definitely was a good different for me. I’d highly recommend ?✊?and the owner and girl working there were very nice and friendly“
“While in Duluth I did a Google search for restaurants near me - and La Oaxaqueña Taqueria came up highly recommended nearby. Always in the mood for authentic tacos - I headed right over in the late afternoon to get in before the dinner rush. The restaurant is in a strip center as I expected - and it's relatively small... also as I expected. The ambient music was true to form ethnic - though a little loud for my taste. I was dining with someone who is hard of hearing and wears hearing aids - and the guy at the next table listening to a loud video on his phone wasn't helping... so I had to deduct a star for atmosphere. It is what it is... I'm keeping this review honest.I still rated the service a full five stars as our waitress was sweet and helpful as she could be - though she really didn't speak any English and we certainly couldn't habla any Espanol. We made due with our limitations and I ordered the carne asada tacos and my friend ordered the barbacoa tacos - and they were promptly served up piping hot.The tacos had plenty of meat in them - and both styles were delicious. The barbacoa tacos were so good - I placed another order for three more to take home! The price including tax for nine tacos and two drinks was right at $40 - which I thought was very fair in today's inflationary times.I enjoyed my visit to La Oaxaqueña Taqueria and will be sure to stop by again the next time I'm in Duluth!“
“Had chicken tacos, good flavor but meat could have been drained as there was a lot of liquid on my plate :/ service was ok, pleasant overall but I asked for rice and beans, never got them. Was pretty loud in the restaurant ? Took long to check out, noticed this issue for other customers. Having said all that I will return ?“
“This place is great. I've had the tacos, burritos and quesadillas with either steak, chicken or pork and they were all delicious! The salsa bar that they provide has 4-5 delicious salsas from a mild to very hot spice level, which is great. The mango & passion fruit juice they make in house is amazing. The service is speedy and the staff is always helpful with a smile. It's always a great experience at Beto's!“

“The tacos are delicious, especially the sweet corn (not pictured) served with beer! The staff are also friendly??Even though it's a bit chilly, there are a lot of people at the outdoor tables at night.I need to bring my dog later!!“
“I just ate there after a long day traveling to the area for business. I enjoyed it greatly. It's a traditional, little Mexican restaurant. A lot of the dishes are traditional fare. The food is good, and I got a pretty big plate for what I paid. Staff was very nice.“
“The food took a little while and it is a little pricey.. BUT, the food was fresh and hot, and there was PLENTY of it. We ordered 5 tacos de asada, 5 tacos de al pastor, a burrito de asada, 1 large Horchata and 1 medium Jamaica and spent about $70. The aguas frescas were pretty good and the tacos have double tortillas and are stuffed with meat. The burrito was pretty basic and they gave us 2 big tubs of salsas (red and green). Over all the experience was good.“
