“Let’s start with the food. It was awesome! We got the “Taco Feast” and was great! However there are a couple things worth mentioning. Music was too loud. Maybe great in the evening for more of a party vibe, but not for the late afternoon. And the staff, we found interesting there were around 20 people in the staff, and frankly, many of them were walking around like headless chicken, kind of trying to look busy. Back to positives, Aquiles was our server, he did well. And we had one of the supervisors also checking on us, so service in general was good. Rating? About 4.5 stars. Will definitely go back next time we are in town.“

“I discovered this place a few weekends ago while getting gas. Ali, the owner, gave me a chorizo breakfast burrito to try, it was amazing! Since then I stop by once a week to get four of them for myself and coworkers. All three of them look forward to breakfast burrito Friday's and wish they lived closer. “I stopped in for a to go order on a Friday evening. The line was long! I am not sure if it’s because the spot is new, but expect to wait if you are dining here on a Friday night. However, I did learn that if you just want to place a to go order you can do that at the walk up window!

I waited about 15-20 minutes in line prior to making it to the register to place an order. I opted for the chicken wings ( I read they were good), chips and salsa, and the Esqueleto salad. After placing the order it took about 15 minutes to be ready.

The wings were just ok to me. Not the best smoked wings I have had. They are a little tough and not tender. I would not order them again. I was told the chips were made in house. They were tasty as was the salsa. The salad was amazing!

Overall the service was great, I enjoyed the majority of my food. As such, I am sure I will be back to try more of the menu.“

“We love Little Rey!! We worked with Baleigh from LR when planning our Rehearsal Dinner for our wedding weekend, and we had such a great experience!! Their team was very easy to communicate with, and they offer a third party delivery service so we were able to have our food delivered/set up at our venue stress free! Our rehearsal dinner was at a local brewery, so their delicious tacos were perfect fit for the event. We had SO many compliments from our guests about how amazing the food was-- the food was very fresh and tasty and such a beautiful display! We would highly recommend and are so thankful for their help in making our event so special!“

“I visited Atlanta with my family to see my brother and his family, and he took us to Velvet Taco at this location. We also tried various restaurants, ranging from fast food to high-end fine dining, but this place stood out! The food and ambiance were superb.

The tacos were exceptional, with high-quality ingredients and a delightful mixture of flavors and items that were carefully and tastefully selected. The menu was concise yet comprehensive, even offering great options for vegetarians. Our group sampled almost everything on the menu, and every item was delicious.

Located within walking distance to Embassy Suites we stopped in for lunch and it was packed which is a good sign at a food joint meaning it's worth the line!!! “The pastor taco was delicious. The rice is dry but still good. Be prepared to order in Spanish or just point at the menu board. The cashier didn't want to speak English. I speak enough Spanish to order and converse but if you know how to say onion in English, you know the basics. I prefer to speak English but if my client is speaking the most popular language in the world and here in Atlanta, I'm going to speak it. I learn Spanish just for the few that pretend to no habla me lingua, y los otros que no entender realamente.“

“These tacos blew me away! Don’t be scared by the fact that they are in a gas station. The tacos were so fresh, authentic, and delicious. They started making my tacos only after I ordered them, so they came out super hot. The tacos are loaded in savory corn tortillas with incredibly juicy meat. I tried the brisket and carnitas, which were both fabulous. If someone told me they came from a sit down restaurant, I would believe them without second though. Looks can be deceiving, so stop by Taquito Express the next time you need some gas.“

The restaurant is a clean fast food setting with a few niceties to make it a little more Buckeadish.The service was great, they're friendly when did a good job of asking the right questions so that I could avoid dairy and didn't eat something that was unexpectedly spicy.The descriptions of the tacos were accurate and I got what I thought I would. The tacos were hearty with lots of spicy flavor without being overly spicy. He did include some pickled habanero veggies, in case I wanted to go there. Also, the tacos had their individuality. The birra taco with the fried shell was particularly tasty.It's Taco tuesday, so 3 really tasty tacos and a drink for $13 in Buckhead is a real deal.
