“So far, I have loved everything I have gotten. Fries are delicious, as are the Patty Melt and Club sandwich. The family that runs it are delightful! It's a woman along with her mother and daughter. It is tucked out of the way, but worth searching for. Remember, it's a food truck. It's on the corner of College Street and E. Louisiana Ave. The driveway is on E. Louisiana.“

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill Fast Food • $

“This was a quick stop on a road trip. We were honestly just looking for somewhere with a bathroom, but we're surprised and delighted by this Dairy Queen. It was squeaky clean, and the employees were welcoming. They were joking around with our kids and overall it was just such a pleasant experience. We got blizzards (and a dipped cone for me!) which was a great mid-road trip snack. It'll be a nice place for us to stop on future drives!“

“You'll feel as though you're driving into the middle of nowhere once you turn off the interstate on I-16 at the Soperton, Ga exit on Hwy 29. Pass through Soperton onto Hwy 15 and you'll end up in Tarrytown, GA where you'll find Kc's Restaurant at The Windmill. We came down for the seafood buffet, and it did not disappoint. Saying that the buffet is good would be an insult. It's fantastic! They're supposed to have the seafood buffet once a month, so call the restaurant and find out when the dates are. You won't regret it. There was fried fish, fried shrimp, shrimp scampi, a fresh salad, fresh crab salad, crab cake bites, crab stew, chicken tenders for the kids (or anybody else), mac-and-cheese ( the off-the-chain version), French fries, hush-puppies, cup-cakes and chocolate chip cookies, and a few other things that I probably left out. Everything I tried was awesome. From what I hear, they have a Sunday brunch that can't be beat. I think they're open Thursday-Sunday, so get there and have a great meal.Parking: Big, grass parking lot. Easy to park.“
