My husband and I went there for breakfast two days ago and I had pancakes and they served them to me barely warm . I like my pancakes hot off the grill . My husbands eggs and sausage was also only warm and they were not busy? Won’t be back soon .

Staff is great! My breakfast sandwich was tasty and filling. The new coffee leaves a lot to be desired. We found it very weak. Our waitress brewed a new pot, double strength for us, but it wasn't great. Morgan, our server was wonderful!!

Hostess seated us promptly. Drinks & food order was taken in a timely manner by server. Breakfast plate was ordered as well as Chicken Tender plate. Food was slow to table and cold upon arrival. Had to ask multiple times for items forgotten. Not a pleasant experience.

I have always been a fan of Cracker Barrel and eat at them often but today’s visit was terrible. I should have taken a picture of my plate and regret that I didn’t for proof. I have included a photo of my receipt instead. We got two plates of chicken tenders and they were sad. There were about 6 tenders on each plate that were small and extra crispy and each plate had 8 French fries. The 2 cokes we got were $3.29 each! I’m gonna have to bring my own next time or drink water. We had pretty sad service as well. The young lady who seated us gave us 2 silverware sets even tho there was 3 of us (one being a little person). We ended up asking for napkins, silverware, the included drink for the little one, condiments and drink refills. Nothing was offered but was brought to the table when we asked for it. Nope, she wasn’t busy….she had around the corner phone time. Oh and no children’s menus…. They were out.
We check out and I came within a hair of saying I didn’t want to pay full price for those meals. I probably should have but we were wrestling a toddler at the time and I couldn’t do much more.
Here’s the kicker…
While I took the toddler out, my daughter stays behind to purchase an outfit for the little one. She goes to pay for the items ands the gal at checkout says “I don’t have any large bags. Which one of these reusable bags do you want to buy for your items? This one costs $1.49 or this one for $1.79?” What the heck? My daughter purchased one 3T toddler outfit and you mean to tell me you don’t have a bag to put it in!?! Or are you trying to make some kind of bag selling quota? I don’t have words for this.

Went to the Cracker Barrell at Statesboro on January 2, 2025 at 2:30 pm. We waited 5 minutes at the checheck in desk and no one came. Finally a lady came and said someone would be with us shortly. After 5 more minutes a hostess came and seated us. We sat st the table 10 minutes and no waitress came to take our order so we got up and left. This is the third Cracker Barrell that we have had a bad experience at in the last month

Dine in. Good service good food. We enjoyed our visit. It was super busy but we got seated fast.
It's been a little bit since we've gone to this Cracker Barrel (Statesboro, GA) but there were a few things that stood out to us. The menu has changed slightly. I used to be able to get only french toast but now it comes with eggs/meat. A waste to me since I don't eat that much. The food tasted different. Not the same quality. The biscuits were very bland tasting, and overcooked (hard). Even the old timers meal had a different taste (not as flavorful).
On a positive note, our server was very sweet and attentive. It will be a while before we go back.

It was a cold and damp day. After grocery shopping we decided we needed a warm, cozy and friendly place to grab a bite to eat. Thinking of the beautiful fire that CB offers and a great cup of coffee with our meal, we decided on Cracker Barrel, Statesboro. However, the fire was almost out, fresh coffee had to be brewed, and my husband's meat loaf was cold. (that problem was remedied immediately). Our usual delightful experience was not so delightful this time.
Parking: I think the spaces for "TAKE OUT" should be fewer, and more Handicap parking should be moved from the side to the front of the restaurant.

Chicken was fried in old grease. You could taste the difference. Very unappealing to the taste buds. Very disappointed!

The food was bad and the service was worse. I sat there with an empty glass and the server finally showed up with my check but never asked if I wanted a refilll so I left thirsty. I went for a nice holiday meal, mainly for the atmosphere especially the fire, but it was down to a few embers and they said they were too busy to put wood on it. I even volunteered to get the wood.
Three strikes out of three. I'll think hard before I go back

Ordered the Thanksgiving meal to go. It was ready when we arrived and it was perfect for two of us. Always delicious
Crushing disappointment 2024 Thanksgiving meal. Historically, a phenomenal traditional dinner... Tasting homemade/sublime
This year...food presentation was off-putting,runny sweet potato souffle that was relatively tasteless.. NOT ONE SLICE OF TURKEY!! a glob of dressing few turkey chunks and gravy.. no ham this year. Cranberry sauce came in tiny plastic cups.. didn't come til midway through meal;
Green beans were delicious.
All good lukewarm. Very stingy biscuit or cornbread. Plate looked so unappetizing. Pumpkin pie came with meal. That was delicious. This year if you wanted pecan pie, you had to order and pay for separately.... Won't be going back.

Cracker Barrel has always been a favorite with us at my job. We work through lunch so we are always DoorDashing. Today we ordered 3 meals for delivery. 1 Chicken and Dumplings with carrots and fried okra. 1 Maple Glazed Chicken with Mashed Potatoes w/ Sawmill gravy and Carrots. 1 Maple Glazed Chicken with Mashed potatoes and Mac N Cheese. The chicken and dumplings looked like someone had eaten half of it there was barely any on the plate, the carrots were still hard and cold and there was very little Okra. The two Maple Glazed chickens did not have any maple glaze, they tasted like baked chicken with a slice of American cheese melted on them with a half cooked slice of bacon to top that off. The mashed potatoes were not mashed there were hard chunks of potatoes and some dark stuff with barely any gravy on the one and in the other one we found a long hair, the carrots were also half cooked and hard on this plate. Needless to say we paid for food that we couldn't eat. It was awful and we will not be ordering from here for a good long time. Super disappointed.
