It was almost closing time, but we like to try the Mom and Pop places when we can. So we pulled thinking we might have missed lunch but there is nothing like asking. We were greeted immediately, offered a table inside(chairs were already up). BBQ baked potato and coleslaw for me and 1/2 lb pulled pork, Brunswick stew and coleslaw for my husband. We enjoy a good sticky BBQ from our neck of the woods,so this was a little different for us. It was all quite tasty, signed our name on the wall, thanked the friendly staff and took a few ribs for the road. Now home with our ribs,we realized we missed the good stuff.... the RIBS! Melt in your mouth,😋 cooked and seasoned to perfection with a rub unique to Hopeyoulikit. Thank you for your generosity, courtesy, and friendly atmosphere.... we will be back, the good Lord willing.

We live in Springfield, GA. It's worth the drive. Really good BBQ!

Absolutely loved Hopeulikeit BBQ and Market. I have been back several times and have tried their Brisket (Excellent) the Burnt Ends (Mouth watering in a good way) the pulled pork (very delicious)
The potato salad, Mac and cheese, and Brunswick Stew are all equally delicious as well.
Highly recommend going to Hopeulikeit BBQ and Market if you want some good food!!

Delicious. Good prices. Friendly service. Clean, spacious atmosphere. Best Mac n cheese I think I’ve ever tasted. Loaded potato salad is great. BBQ and sauces are good and tasty.

This is a great place to eat. The pork bbq was excellent. The bbq baked potato was also great. The prices were reasonable and the service was quick. We will be back!

For a place smack dab in Paper Country, I find it odd they use so much Styrofoam. Cups and bowls of this rotten stuff that will never decompose are used once and tossed.

The brisket was ok, a bit dry. the BBQ sauce was ok. Neither lived up to the hype.

Best BBQ that I've had in Statesboro.

I’ve tried a lot of bbq places but this is by far the best. The Mac & cheese was so delicious. I had the chicken also very good. My husband had the pulled pork. Everything was good. Very nice people working. I will return, I definitely need more mac & cheese.

We ordered a 10lb turkey breast and a whole ham for a family gathering. Simply outstanding, juicy and delicious to the core. Everyone loved it.

I would go here even if the food was just okay because I don't think they have a single employee who isn't extremely kind. I try to stop by everytime I'm the statesboro area. Their turkey sandwich and chicken sandwiches are my favorite. The potato salad and blondies are delicious. I'm so glad I stumbled on this spot while traveling for work.

Lived in Statesboro for 12 years. I've always seen Hopeulikit BBQ & Market but just never stopped. Today I had time and was thoroughly satisfied. I was met with an aroma of pure bliss and a smile. I got the brisket and the chicken neither of which needed any sauce but the sauces that I got vinegar and the sweet and tangy were both amazing to pair with each. Food was great and fresh. Highly recommended.
