This place is a hidden gem. Heading back from a Cape Canaveral cruise, we stopped here for lunch about 1.5 hrs from home - Augusta. Glad we waited until Statesboro. We ordered the 1/2 chicken combo plate & 1/4 lb brisket combo plate. Combo came with 2 sides & 1 drink. Plus 20% tip at the counter, it came to $30 & change. Large portions, we couldn’t finish it. Roadside Barbecue with excellent food !!Brisket and pulled pork were equally great.The sweet and tangy sauce is the very top of great BBQ sauce.Young lady that waited on me was super pleasant and very helpful with my order.The dining room is simple and super clean.Will go back as soon as possible.
We have been loving Hopeulikit BBQ since the first day it opened! Everything I've tried here has been delicious. But, my favorite is the sampler; you get BBQ, ribs, sausage, and brisket. They have the best brisket and BBQ around!
