It was almost closing time, but we like to try the Mom and Pop places when we can.
So we pulled thinking we might have missed lunch but there is nothing like asking.
We were greeted immediately, offered a table inside(chairs were already up). BBQ baked potato and coleslaw for me and 1/2 lb pulled pork, Brunswick stew and coleslaw for my husband. Lived in Statesboro for 12 years. I've always seen Hopeulikit BBQ & Market but just never stopped. Today I had time and was thoroughly satisfied. I was met with an aroma of pure bliss and a smile. I got the brisket and the chicken neither of which needed any sauce but the sauces that I got vinegar and the sweet and tangy were both amazing to pair with each. Food was great and fresh. Highly recommended.
Omg the ribs were sensational, flavorful, tender, soft, fell right off the bone. Loaded potatoe salad amazing, Brunswick stew seriously delicious. Wowzers.
