Smallcakes Cupcakery & Frozen Treats

I’ve been here many times and they never fail to impress me. The workers are always very kind and helpful, their treats are always delicious and amazing and even decently priced, and their store is clean and presentable. My dog absolutely adores their pupcakes (I swear she knows them by the bag because she starts going crazy when she sees it), I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a local bakery!

I ordered three dozen of cupcakes for my son’s graduation party and they were absolutely delicious. The cupcakes were very moist and the flavors were amazing. I highly recommend them for any sweets that you may need for functions.

In my opinion, this location could benefit from a deep cleaning. I visited recently and as soon as I walked in the door, my feet stuck to the floor, making noise with every step. I looked over the tables and could see crumbs on every single one. The store had just opened for the day, so it was most likely from the night before. I felt I didn't need to purchase anything after seeing the cleanliness of the lobby area.

I love visiting this bakery! The frozen yogurt is delicious, but the macarons are my favorite!!! Best of all... the staff is super friendly! Always smiling!!

The icing tastes exactly like the pillsbury funfetti icing… I took two bites and threw my birthday cake cupcake away. There was no “birthday cake” flavoring in the icing. I hate to waste $5 but I wasn’t going to finish your below average cupcake when I could save the calories and sugar for something better. I’m so disappointed. It was also humid in the store. The air may have been off? The lady working was so kind and I left her a tip but the cupcake was not good at all. I’m so disappointed and more upset I wasted my money.

Their chocolate strawberries weren’t that good, they decided to put them in the fridge which is what you’re not supposed to do because then they’re wet, then they didn’t even look professionally done had the melted backs.

Bragging on this place because I made the mistake of ordering birthday cupcakes online and not specifying any modifications. My mom LOVES their strawberry cupcakes. However, the ones she likes and the ones I ordered were not the same kind (again, my mistake). I had simply ordered strawberry cupcakes. When I picked them up I quickly realized my mistake and asked if I could buy the ones I knew she liked and explained that I thought the ones I ordered were decorated the same as the ones on display. Madelyn was adamant about making sure I got exactly what I wanted. She quickly took the ones I ordered online and decorated them in the back to make them look like the large ones up front. Ummm, the best customer service! I rarely come to this place, but from now on, I will make sure to order here for every occasion, in person because online ordering is not for me, from this point on. Highly recommend, Madelyn is an absolute star and made my day so much better. I’ve literally never had such a good experience at a bakery. Thank you!

Smallcakes truly went above and beyond for my birthday order. I accidentally missed my pickup, and even though the owner was out and it was a holiday, a team member still took the time to meet me so I could get my order. That level of dedication, kindness, and customer service is truly rare. I am so grateful for the care and heart behind this business. Wow! I didn't know anything could be this delicious! I've sampled three of them and each cupcake was more delectable than the last! I ordered for a doctor's office and my birthday and wanted to be sure they were excellent. They were and beyond! I highly recommend them! So many yummy flavors and textures within one rather large cupcake and many to choose from. Definitely put it on your list to check out at first chance.

This Bakery has some of the best mouth watering moist desserts in Statesboro and great Customer Service.

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is there was not much avaiable product. Maybe they sell out a lot early in the day
