I called and ordered a birthday cake on a Tuesday that I needed for Saturday. Spoke with a Brinley who took my order and said that if I did not hear back from her, I could pick it up at the bistro on Saturday. I did not hear back from her. Called the bistro on Saturday, no cake. Spoke with an Adam, who said he would check the warehouse and call me back. I did not get a call back. And don’t get me started on the idea of cakes being in a warehouse. Tried to call the coffeehouse across town and see if they possibly had the cake. No cake. But the girl was very sweet and transferred me to the owner. The owner did not bother to pick up. I’m sure sugar Magnolia sells a ton of cakes and it’s no big deal to them to lose one, but it is a very big deal to me when it is my husband‘s birthday and I’ve got 20 people coming and have to scramble at the last minute to find a cake from a grocery store.

Love this place, but super disappointed that they claim to be ADA accessible and they are not really. They need to update their hours on Google.

Wheelchair accessibility: This place is not really wheelchair accessible. The ADA parking is in front of the brewery, not the restaurant. And the brewery has put in all these chairs and tables and blocked the access to the restaurant.

Adorable little shop with lovely coffee and treats.
Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed some cookies, cake and lattes. The gals were so friendly and helpful - even sharing the places where the coffee beans were sourced from.
Will definitely be back next time in the boro.

So I always check out local shops when I'm traveling around. I checked out this place as they had a drive-thru.

First off their menu was not accurate. I tried to order 3 separate pastry items listed on the menu and was informed that they don't make them anymore. (Update your menu then)!

I ordered the All Nighter espresso drink, but was disappointed as when I got on the road and took a sip it was just Milk and way to much syrup. I checked the drink and it was just white milk, no espresso!!

So sadly I paid $5.50 for nothing.

We have rediscovered the charm of Sugar Magnolia. They have improved since opening. I enjoy the grits, lattes and all the bakery treats.

There are several places to sit and stay awhile, which we do as well. The staff is so friendly. To top it off, it doesn't break the bank to eat here!

They offer breakfast items including crispy bacon, eggs etc as well as sandwiches for lunch and other savory things in addition to cookies, brownies and many baked specialties. You have to come in to see the selection. They are open at 7 until 4pm. Closed Sundays.

We stopped to get iced coffee on the way to the burial site for my grandmother's funeral. It's a very cute coffee house, nice furniture and decor. There was only 2 people working at the time, my coffee took quite a bit longer than everyone else's. But the crew was friendly and apologized for the wait. I got cocomocha iced coffee, it was delicious!
