Honestly, I came to the area to pick up some furniture across the street for my 3yo... but this drive is worth the 30-minute drive.

In my experience, Ethiopian food is always cooked fresh... so everything takes at least 20 minutes to make. Luckily tigi made me a sambusa for free to munch on as I waited.

The beef stew was amazing, the injera was cooked fresh and perfect, and the coffee came with natural gum on hot charcoal which acts as an incense that smells a bit like eucalyptus.

Tigi is a gem.

Don't forget though that this is a catering service that has a food truck! Weddings, birthdays, christenings... don't worry, she can easily handle 300 people at a time.“

“Me and my friend tyler were heading to el rey taco on buford hwy and when we got there it was jammed pack so we decided to leave and go to another taco spot down the street and we were making our way we saw a bright lit parking lot full of people with a taco truck that we have never heard of we actually drove past and something told me to turn around and that it would be worth it. So i made the uturn and we pulled in. Got to meet the owner and she was extremely sweet. Cool lil lady lol she gives young mom vibes mind you im only 22. But anyway we order 3 tacos each i got birria and my homie got 1 birria. The tacos were amazing cooked too perfection with a great portion of food great size and no stingeyness and great quality. “I found this place after a long night of travel delays & cancellations, and it was everything I needed. I ordered a mocha latte and chocolate croissant and they were both so good. Enjoyed them at an outdoor table and it was perfection. The staff was very kind, and the chicken salad sandwich I bought for later was very tasty as well. Highly recommend.“

Back in 2012, I discovered All Island Cafe and their jerk chicken and oxtails. I loved it so much that I moved to Stone Mountain and lived there for 3 years just so I could enjoy the food. 😂

Since then, I've lived in 6 different states in the USA and even spent half a year in Jamaica. And still, even after moving to this new location, you truly have the best oxtails.

“Pulled over because I was running errands during my lunch break. Best decision I made all day. I got the spicy lamb gyro and it was delicious, warm, and packed with a lot of meat. It wasn't even that spicy as I had to ask before ordering it spicy because I love spicy food but a lot of places over do it . The nice lady at the window told me it wasn't that spicy and I went for it, brought it back to work and devoured it. I got one for my coworker and I was about to eat his because it was SOOO good. A little far from where I work but definitely worth the drive.“

“Decent BBQ. I was looking for BBQ around 9 PM and that’s hard to find in ATL/Metro ATL. I got chicken, rib tips, sausage, Mac and cheese, and baked beans. Baked beans were baked beans. Mac and cheese was excellent. Rib tips and sausage were good. The only thing I didn’t like was the chicken was too large. It tastes ok, but that isnt my preference. I’d definitely go back.“
