“Our previous visit to Meichtry was during COVID so it's been a couple years. Was as good as we remembered! Wines are very good - both reds and whites! Facility is spacious and the outside patio is HUGE! Pet Friendly which is a plus for us. Highly recommended!“

“I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s an absolutely beautiful venue, with great wines, Georgia beers and a friendly staff. We had our wedding there and used their event space which is not only huge but beautifully decorated. I would recommend visiting them, or letting them host your event. They have both inside and outside fireplaces with lots of seating. Live music throughout the month with food trucks and a covered stage outside. Plentiful parking with two cabins for rent on property. Definitely check them out if you’re in Ellijay.“

“The ciders were all great, and I'm not the biggest cider fan. The prices were also really fair, we filled a growler for $16 and had to make a choice which option we would go with.We also came with two kids, since the cidery is family friendly. We stopped across the street first to grab some hand pies and cake, and had a great time between the two family places.“

“I’ve been dying to get out of Braselton and try this place. Wow is it ever worth the drive. Location is phenomenal. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The wine was tasty. The goats were adorable.You’re able to bring in outside food. As a gluten free gal, I will certainly bring in some snackies next time. They do offer some items for snacks.Bought a bottle to go and some glasses. Will make an excellent housewarming gift for a friend.Please do not steal their glasses!! They are adorable and only $8, buy one and support a local business!“

“Stopped by on our way home from a cabin trip and absolutely LOVED our experience! They offer flights and glasses of the wines produced at the vineyard. We stuck to the reds and loved everything we tried! Katie and Claire were amazing at making us feel so welcome and answered all our questions!! We stopped for wine but also ended up touring their venue as we in the works of planning our wedding. Our only wish is that they were closer to home in Atlanta!“

“Super cute and a vibe for everyone. You can stir in the covered area with liv music, inside at the bar, outside by the vines and bring a picnic blanket and sit at the end of the vines! We did the $12 wine tasting and were able to taste 4 wines each. Even the ones I didn’t love were still good! Laura was wonderful and very friendly and helpful in aiding in the selection. Great for a girls day, date, or get together with your friends.“

“Cartecay vineyards is a great spot! Came here with my parents last weekend and we spent a few hours walking around, tasting wine, and adding firewood to the giant stone fireplace outside by the vineyards… Highly recommend this beautiful place.“
