Where do I even begin with this wonderful place? My family and I happened to discover Papou’s a few months ago, and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots to eat. Every single time we come in, we are greeted with kindness, fast service, and delicious food. I especially cannot say enough good things about the gyro wraps, absolutely wonderful!
Today, our whole family stopped in during a little get together, and I truly felt the need to leave a review after the experience we had. My mother is very hard of hearing, and Grace was so patient, thoughtful, and understanding with all of us. She answered every question kindly, never rushed us, and even took a few moments to speak with me personally about some things I have been dealing with lately. That kind of genuine care is hard to come by these days.
It is rare to find a restaurant that not only serves great food, but also makes people feel welcomed and cared for. Thank you to everyone at Papou’s, and especially thank you to Grace for making our day so special.
And congratulations on your graduation, dear! You have such a bright future ahead of you.

I live in Douglasville but when I enter that area Papou's is the place to go. Chicken wrap was the bomb!! The pizza was so juicy good.

Papou's Pizza has long been a staple of Tallapoosa. They have always had reasonable prices and have never faltered in the quality of their food. I made a large order for my family tonight and they had it out within 35 minutes, with the same great quality as always. I highly recommend their lasagna and bacon cheese bread. Amazing food and amazing service!

I love Mom and Pop pizza shops! And this one is another one on my list that I love. I would go back here. No problem and no questions asked. The staff in the inside is amazing and you can tell that it's locally owned and operated. Support local and buy gray food! Love it!

We have been there twice now. Both times food and service were stellar! If you like chicken parmesan you are in for a treat. The meat sauce is a bit spicy but awesome. The marinara sauce is down right addicting.
We even bought gift cards for friends we liked it so much.

I remember it like it was yesterday. The air was warm, the wind was blowing slightly to the northeast. I was skipping along joyful in my child like envy. When all of a sudden, as if by a stroke of fate or by God I do not know, I stumbled across quite possibly the greatest eating establishment in the entire history of the culinary world. It was as if Popous himself come out and greeted me with his big Greek smile, because he did. I stumbled inside head full of amusement and stomach aching with hunger. I pulled out my crisp 3 dollars and 37 cents and bought myself the greatest most fresh, simply amazing slice of pizza I have had in my entire existence. This was 20 years ago, ever since that moment I have been searching for a bite of that pizza for every day that I wake. Crust fluffy and light yet filling, sauce crafted with perfection, the finest parmesan and the best pepperonis known to man. All combining together to make the most complexly simple, yet greatest slice of pizza. All to be washed down with a fresh coke, freezing cold and as refreshing as an oasis in a desert. This place is quite simply the most amazing experience on earth. Food, arcade, scenic views of historic Tallapoosa and the most welcoming staff around. 10/10 I would dedicate my life to again.

Normally when you go to a restaurant you are greeted in some capacity. We aren’t from here & stopped by after reading good reviews. We walked in, and the employees just stared at us, we were clearly confused. We didn’t see a menu or a place to order so we assumed someone would tell us to have a seat, they’ll seat us, where we can order, etc. We stood there for a few minutes & walked around the restaurant and ended up walking out because of the weird hostile atmosphere.

This place is great! We stopped here for dinner on our honeymoon in 2019. It was as great as we remembered when we stopped in last week while passing through.
The Greek salad and pizza are very good, tzatziki sauce is on point, and the owner and employees are very friendly. You won't be disappointed!

Note: they are cash only, but I believe there is an ATM in the lobby.

this is a great place to eat in tallapoosa, inside of this place is beautiful! and the food is great i like the cheese pizza large they have arcade machines and coin slot toy games i highly recommend.

Meh, neither great nor bad. The food tasted alright. I would have gave a higher rating if they accept payments other than cash, had a fountain drink machine, and it did not take over half an hour to get our order. Also I ordered lemon pepper wings and they gave me hot wings. I just ate them because I didn't want to wait another half hour to get more wings. I would probably come back and try again.
