“My husband and I ate here this past Friday to celebrate our anniversary. We sat outside and had a nice view of the train tracks and sunset. The service was great, the food came quickly and was hot and fresh. I got the shrimp and grits and it was unbelievable. We could smell the caramel sauce being made from down the street, so we knew we had to try the pound cake bananas foster, and it was to die for. Absolutely recommend!!”

“I had my son’s graduation dinner at Ella B’s, and my family had nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. Our personal waitress Nikki (w/o the fade.. inside joke..lol) was nothing short of phenomenal. She made sure we had everything we needed and more. Managing a large party can sometimes be tedious, but Nikki provided great customer service through it all, with a smile.. Mr. Mac made sure everyone was well fed, and he too made our experience a good one.. Special thanks to Ms. Brianna. She made sure my catering needs were met, and she too always provided good customer service. Thank you Ella B’s for making my son’s graduation party a memorable time!! (Mrs. J.W)”

“The person that took our order was very friendly (whoever worked the register on 7/19 around 3:30/4:00p, young black woman). The order came out fast, correct, and was VERY tasty. I think the AC was on its way out because it was a little warm inside... but that's not anyone's fault. Stuff breaks. Didn't use the restroom, but the dining area was clean. The drink area was clean. Stocked and organized. No sticky messes, no trash on counters, etc. Would definitely eat there again.”

“I celebrated my birthday this year at Hubs and Hops. The atmosphere there is great and the people are always very friendly. A local brewery was doing a tap takeover and handing out merch and discount cards. The owners are fabulous and have stopped by my table every time I’ve been there to speak to us. They always have a great selection of craft beer and wine. The live music was a hit! I had friends come from Tallahassee and Valdosta and we all had a great time. We will be back soon.”

“It's a little hole-in-the-wall but don't let that put you off. The fare is simple but tasty. I just had a couple of cheese dogs. The staff were nice, but could have used a couple of extra bodies behind the counter to speed things along. I honestly think they need to find a larger space with a more adequate kitchen and storage.”

The food was soooo good and fresh, everything was laid out beautifully, they served the food with professionalism and were so friendly!! I cannot recommend them enough! They even cut our cake when we realized we didn’t plan that part lol thank you so much for making that day memorable and our guests STILL talk about how good the food was!!”

“The Tavern on Broad is a wonderful place for lunch, dinner, or now they also have a Sunday brunch! Everything on the menu is amazing, but the chicken wings are simply the best I've ever had! Meaty, crispy, yet fall-off-the-bone, it's hard to describe and must be tried! The staff there all go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Allen is the best server of all time! He cares about his customers and it really shows!”

“Steve (server) was great, drinks were never empty, food was placed/brought out correctly & in a timely manner. We’ve always had amazing food and service. Although, my burger (ordered medium rare LIKE ALWAYS) tasted like soap. I had my boyfriend try it to make sure I wasn’t tasting anything funny. I quietly told Steve and he was very understanding + nicely took it off the check when I repeated multiple times that he didn’t have to do that. A female manager with dark, curly hair then proceeded to come out + tell me “I tasted the burger because I didn’t believe that our food could taste like soap, and to me it didn’t taste like anything was wrong”. She then said “don’t order burgers medium rare, steak is fine but burgers? Do I need to give you a biology lesson?” I said “no ma’am that’s unnecessary” and she said “I didn’t think so” and walked off. (Mind you I wasn’t upset at all about my order + was okay with paying for it without eating it) Again, Steve was amazing and we will continue to eat here, but the “nice/nasty” attitude from the “manager” towards a customer was very unnecessary.”

“Wife and I stopped in for lunch . I noticed their sign in Metcalf "Best Southern Food" . The place is small and quaint, country decor . It was spotlessly clean as well. I ordered fried chicken which came with Mac n cheese. My sides were greens and skillet squash. Cornbread was included on my plate as well. Afterwards, our waitress brought out a slice of delicious homemade cinnamon pound cake.EVERTHING was wonderfully good . I can see us riding there from Crawfordville Fl. just to have lunch again. The service was typical of a fast food restaurant. The guy couldn't explain the menu without confusing himself. I just said, "it's OK, in busy going to order a bunch of chicken, and then I went to the grocer down the street for all the side dishes.

The atmosphere of most MFC's never adds up to very much, sorta bland, and not a party spot.

There were 8 of us but it looked like it would accommodate 16-20. It was perfect. We were able to have normal conversations without interference from other diners.”

“This review is long over due but 100% necessary. My sister got married back in September right after the hurricane and was cancelled on for her rehearsal dinner just hours before it started. Fallins BBQ stepped up and provided catering with just a few hours notice for 50 people. The BBQ: AMAZING. The sides: DELICIOUS. And the banana pudding: BEST WE’VE EVER HAD! I couldn’t recommend this restaurant and family enough!”

“Eveytime I go to Whataburger they always have a good attitude and they're fast with getting meals out especially around lunch time! I did an online order and the lady at the register was helping customers figure out what they wanted cause they've never gone and her customer service skills were amazing! While she was talking with them I sat and waited for my food and the manager checked up on me to make sure I was helped and I told her I was just waiting for my order. She went and called my name and had my bag in hand within a few seconds! All around great customer skills with today's shift!”
