“Wanting a birthday dinner outside of Tallahassee, I made a reservation a month in advance and was not disappointed. We were warmly greeted and seated right away. Our waitress was prompt, knowledgeable, and the right amount of attentive. We ordered one craft beer (they had just run out of the one I really wanted. Pro tip: try not to have two IPAs; the lager would have been nice) and then waited for our meals. Food didn't take long and we got to enjoy the art on the walls and cozy atmosphere. When our food arrived, everything was cooked perfectly. Steaks medium rare and sides really tasty. I don't regret ordering steak, though the older menu had some scallop dishes I had been eyeing beforehand. All in all, a very satisfying meal and I plan to return!“
“This place was very, very welcoming to out of state people. We were apparently not one of the natives if you can follow my hint, but by the time we were forced to leave due to flight demands, we were family. I hope beyond hope I'm able to return here soon or at some point for the simple fact that in today's world there are many falsehoods put on who people are albeit due to region or plain ignorance.This establishment crushes any of those silly inflammatory notions that people of different cultures and/or ethnicities have nothing in common. In this amazing place, the feeling of comfort, t armed welcoming, warmth, and friendliness were all we were given freely from entry to exit. “Service was a little slow in my opinion, may have been an off night. Food was great except for one dish we got. The wings had no carrots with the celery. Not sure how that got missed.I would like to see better (non IPA) beer selections. Try for Smithwicks?“
“My husband and I ventured to Thomasville for a weekend getaway and our weekend was made by these people and this business. My husband and I like to ride bikes, but didn’t bring ours with us. Roger went out of his way to lend us bikes and send on us a great ride down the red clay road. The staff on the Hops side were so friendly and made us feel right at home. The food, beer & wine were great. We will be back!!“
