“Hmm. Okay, here's my review... I almost assumed the place was named after the owner, but it turns out that's not the case. What I did find was a locally owned spot with personality, a creative owner, and a team that cares about doing things right. I visited two nights. First night, the assistant manager jumped in to cover and kept things moving. Second night, a new bartender was training, and I loved hearing, take your time, get it right. That shows. Doing it and doing it and doing it well. Doing it and doing it and doing it well. Doing it and doing it and doing it well. Great drinks, fair prices, respectful service. It's a college town bar, relaxed and unpretentious, and I appreciated that. I also respected that the owner keeps pets outside of a busy bar. Smart call. I'll be back when I'm in town. “This is my first time being here because my daughter goes to Florida State. She suggested this place and was told about this place from two of her friends. The food here is amazing. I had to tuxedo striped lobster ravioli, and this dish was so delightful. “The Blue Tavern is a true gem in the Tallahassee Community. Carrie (owner) and Heather (bartender) are welcoming, caring, inclusive. This place has the best music in town on a consistent basis. “Great place to grab a drink, such a fun environment. They don't have Irish fare as of this post, but you can order pizza from next door at the bar and they'll bring it to you. Also they have the best staff who are friendly, funny, and know their patrons. I enjoy coming on trivia night, I appreciate how they mix it up and the thought that goes into it. “My boyfriend and I wanted to go experience something new, he told me about kava, and I searched for the best kava bars in Tallahassee. This is the place we chose and it was a great time! We got there at 10 pm and stayed until 3 am lol. We met great people, played pool and other cool games, and had an amazing time. The social aspect was great. We are definitely coming here again.“

“Lived in the apartments next to this place when I was in college back in 1998, but never came in. Fast forward to 2025. Great atmosphere, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Pool tables are $2 a game, but the beer is cold. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, and a great place to watch a game.“

“This place is located inside The Pickle Pad. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and fries and enjoyed both. I was pressed for time otherwise I would have walked around the facility. The Pickle Pad offers indoor pickleball and several other activities. This looks like a fun place to hang out with friends on the weekend.“

Our favorite part of our road trips, is finding places to eat we can’t find at home. And pizza is my husband’s fave. I don’t normally gravitate to pizza, but this menu had my attention! We ordered the Honey Pig and and pepperoni with marinated portabella mushrooms. These were, simply put, the best pizzas we have had to date on a road trip! Hands down! “Our company needed entertainment for students on a college tour we coordinated. District 850 was an option because they were located near the campuses we visited. The staff was very helpful and able to listen to what we needed and incorporate all our asks. We were able to utilize the time we had available to get the most out of the games and food.
