I had the best torta I’ve ever tasted, the bread was perfectly fresh and soft, and every bite was bursting with flavor. It’s hard to find something this authentic back home in Valdosta. I also tried their aguas frescas, and they were incredibly refreshing and flavorful. My 10-year-old daughter ordered tacos and surprised me by eating four! She said they were the best tacos she’s ever had.This place is absolutely worth the drive. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone craving true Mexican flavors!“

I found this GEM and decided to give it a try, as none of us have ever heard of it. My friends in Tallahassee, that have gatekept this place from us, shame on you. I cannot wait to drive back through this way again to ensure another visit. We also met Hades, walking through the garden, I have changed his name to Arugula, I’ll see him again soon. I love that they cap the human capacity at ten patrons in the cat room per hour. It doesn’t overwhelm the cats or the humans. The place feels upscale, clean, and is one of my favorite places in town. 10/10 recommend!“

The toppings and veggies tasted good. I really liked the drink options. Fresh drink options that give you a reprieve from the typical fountain drinks. A most comprehensive menu all things Mexican-some of which I’d never heard of. Friendly welcome and water and nachos and a salsa dip provided before ordering.

“My original post I had a 5 out of 5 stars but I came here December 12 the night of my graduation at FSU to show my family this cool place I’ve been so fond of for the past year. We came in at 11:30 under the assumption that the establishment closed at 1am. The taps were completely closed by midnight and all tabs were closed at this time as well. In the past I have 100% been served after midnight. I’m just confused if the employee wanted to go home early. Also the male employee working said we could purchase to go beers after our tab was closed out. He mentioned they were half off but we could not drink them in the establishments. Was not the welcoming environment that I have had in the past. Basically everyone was almost forced to leave at midnight even though the sign on the door clearly says 1“

“I dont usually eat at blaze pizza, however when I am in the area by it, I will treat myself to one of their lunch specials. Good food, decent price, and always served hot. Additionally, service has always been great and with a smile. When visiting this location at lunch time it can be challenging if your expecting to be in and out. My food has always been served quickly, and neatly. I will continue to eat from this location. I do NOT have any complaints. Good Job Blaze Pizza. Look forward to my next visit.“

“omgosh amazing food and service. had the pork duo, braises beef ribs, crab cakes, and bread with herb infused oil. definitely a 10/10 in our books. it's not a quick eating place takes about 1.5-2 hours and price is up there so sharing maybe an option especially with what we had but glad we chose our own meals instead of sharing.“

The bathroom was almost immaculate which was a plus. The guac was darker (aged) more than I prefer; it didn't look freshly made. I can't stand brownish guacamole as it's so easy easy to whip a small batch to order. the burrito was just refried beans and protein: there was no lettuce, tomato, sour cream, guac inside. that may be their style do I'll order something different next time.“

We ordered the Honey Pig and and pepperoni with marinated portabella mushrooms. These were, simply put, the best pizzas we have had to date on a road trip! Hands down! “Delicious! The service was great. The meats and veggies were fresh…but the bread was not great. Maybe offering a softer roll? After eating a few bites I felt like the roof of my mouth was very scraped up. It felt like I was chewing forever. I added a bit more mayo and vinegar but I don’t want to have to do that. I want to taste the meat and veggies. I would definitely go back but maybe choose a wrap or salad.“

This was where my Spanish 2 class chose (unanimously) to go for their off-campus, graduation lunch, and ordered their food in Spanish, loved it all, and had so much fun. I fed the whole class and another educator (13 people—11 of them teenagers/ known for eating a lot, also a couple of vegetarians and gluten intolerant that found menu items they loved too) for around $270 (this amount includes a 20% tip). Dine in or take out, I highly recommend La Tiendita.“
