Can we give this 6 or 7 stars??? I need this in Texas!?!? We stopped in Tallahassee for the night, on our way to Orlando. Our favorite part of our road trips, is finding places to eat we can’t find at home. And pizza is my husband’s fave. I don’t normally gravitate to pizza, but this menu had my attention! We ordered the Honey Pig and and pepperoni with marinated portabella mushrooms. These were, simply put, the best pizzas we have had to date on a road trip! Hands down!...read full review
Tried this place with my family as they recently opened this location. We had three 10” pies as well as garlic knots. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. My father-in-law’s pizza got caught on the chains in the oven and had a huge hole in it. Not only did they come out and tell us, but also made his pizza again AND gave us a complimentary order of garlic knots for the inconvenience. The restaurant's unique comic book theme adds to its charm. While the pizza toppings can be a bit thin, the ingredients are top-notch, making it a must-visit spot in Tallahassee. Customers praise the pizza for its well-done, crispy-thin crust and tasty cheese blend. The salads are fresh and delicious, and the garlic knots are enjoyed by many. The bar offers fantastic drinks, including one of the best Old Fashions ever. The vibrant superhero murals and fun atmosphere make Gaines Street Pies a favorite for many visitors.
