As a long time Tallahassee resident, I thought we were doomed to mediocre bagels when The Bagel Peddler closed. Then Bruegger's opened and I was hooked. I haven't had a bagel from Bruegger's that hasn't been delicious! The Monroe Street location is on my way to work so I stop by at least once a week. Jim and his staff are always pleasant and welcoming! A great start to my day!
When possible, I will start my day with their bagel. It is fresh, it is good and it is the best way to start a day.
This is the only place I will ever go for bagels in Tallahassee. The food is always excellent, the manager and staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the place is always clean and inviting. When I have family come into town on weekends, they always ask if we'll be going to Bruegger's.
