“Jeri’s is the kind of place you can eat at 30 times and it’ll be good EVERY TIME! Their food is fresh, well seasoned, and prepared with LOVE! There are many options, I always get suggestions from my servers for new ideas. Not to mention, their menu is changing weekly (new French toast) and monthly (new sandwich of the month).Jeri and her awesome staff keep it cool, and truly strive to make every visit their guests an excellent one.Jeri’s is the perfect brunch/lunch spot for friends, family, and anyone looking to have their belly full and ready for a nap!Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options with the ability to add on chicken or jumbo blackened shrimp to any of it!Dietary restrictions: They are VERY good about restrictive diets! I am gluten free and the first time I got it, I had to double check that it actually was gluten free before I dug in! You can’t tell a difference, great quality. They also take every allergy seriously and take extra precautions when instructed to do so.”
“I'm a massage therapist at Remedy Spa across Capital Circle NE from Paper Fox's CC location. I often come here when I have breaks during the day. The staff often remembers me and sometimes even guesses my drink correctly. The coffee is delicious but the staff really makes it special!”
“The food is amazing and the proportions make it well worth the price points. The line is ALWAYS out the door so don't eat before you order or in a rush. The plates will keep you full for the rest of the day. Excellent customer service while you wait. They remember you. They are kind to strangers. The only issue is they don't deliver. I still will get dressed and out of the house EARLY for the Obama special. You are reminded of how far we have come as a culture by the decor! Thank you”
“Busy on the day after Homecoming, so there was a short wait, but we sat outside and had a lovely time. Food was great. Delightful little local place.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options exist, but they are in the minority and somewhat hard to find.Parking: Limited number of spots. Don't park in the convenience store spots; they will tow. We ended up parking at the vet office next door since they were closed on the weekend.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space to run around outside.”
“I had such a GREAT experience today. They greet you with a smile and when you leave they tell you goodbye and thank you for stopping by. It was my first time and the gentleman at the register was so helpful in explaining the menu to me. The smoothie was sooooo good and so was my breakfast sandwich. Definitely will be back and I’m bringing my friends too?❤️”
“The Blue Tavern is a true gem in the Tallahassee Community. Carrie (owner) and Heather (bartender) are welcoming, caring, inclusive. This place has the best music in town on a consistent basis. Carrie works hard to support the community; it is like home. The "regulars" are genuine folx and the musicians and performers are great, too. Please support and enjoy! Food is great, too. Highly recommend.”
“This is my favorite kava bar in Tallahassee! The kava-tenders are really amazing and great at explaining the products to newcomers. I can't express how much I appreciate their friendly and knowledgeable staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was part of a welcoming community. The kava here is top-notch, with a wide selection of strains to choose from, and the kava-tenders are always ready to guide you towards the perfect choice based on your preferences. The ambiance is perfect for a relaxing evening or meeting up with friends, with comfortable seating and a great vibe. The prices are reasonable, and the quality is unbeatable. Whether you're a kava connoisseur or a first-timer, this bar has something for everyone. I've had some incredible experiences here, and I can't recommend it enough. Five stars without a doubt!”
“My husband and I stopped in for a sweet treat I had the pumpkin pie and it was delicious ! A solid 8/10 however when I tasted my husbands cheesecake it was not good at all and he’s not a picky eater . The texture and taste was completely off to where it didn’t even taste like cheesecake but like oats which is why I took points off.”
“Lovely coffee shop, the owner Donna is very sweet and involved in everything, every time I see her she is very busy. Great place for inexpensive food and drinks. They also have a free food pantry with free supplies and food for anyone in the community to use. Especially love sitting on the back porch and decompressing after a long day. Also love how full of art the space is!Kid-friendliness: They have a corner in the back with a fun doll castle and other toys that keeps my kid nice a busy while I enjoy a rest and they also have a changing table in the bathroom!”
“I ordered a black bean burger with cheese, bacon, avocado, arugula, and tomato. My side was the Lively Bean Salad. There was too much for me to eat, so I brought half of each home. The food was delicious. I will be going back. I highly recommend it.”
“I ordered the Turkey Brie Raspberry Regular. It came with a bag of chips-no substitutes allowed but the sandwich was really good.I think the sandwich was slightly overpriced compared to the other sandwiches on the menu but overall it was good.”
“The breakfast wrap here was A+! Will definitely recommend to everyone.4 start because: The grits were a huge letdown. A place like this in the SOUTH using instant grits??? Are we in Minnesota?? Come on.Otherwise great service, great vibes. Everything you’d want out of a local breakfast joint.Solid 4 star rating from me.”
“The food matches the price. Overall good. Our server was really nice and food came out pretty quick.Only thing is, on the menu the fresh squeezed orange juice is NOT freshly squeezed it’s from a bottle of “freshly squeezed orange juice”. Not worth 5 dollars for bottled juice lol I wouldn’t mind if it was realVegetarian options: Not much for vegetarians/ vegans but it’s an egg place so obv it’s in the name.”
“Vino Beano Tallahassee is the best, I have never been to a coffee shop that serve wine all day. The food, the service, the the belly dancing class is awesome. Free wifi and you get to study in peace! Will definitely come back .Kid-friendliness: Grilled cheese, wifi and comfortable sitting areasParking: Lots of parking on 6th avenue”
“Solid 4 stars here. First and foremost, I went on a Saturday and got seated for a party of 2 within 10 to 15 minutes even though it was packed! The atmosphere appeared to be cozy, but given the massive parties and how busy it was, it felt more like a bussling cafe.In terms of food, I got a basic breakfast of eggs, potatoes, toast, bacon, and coffee. Everything was prepared well. The only complaint I'd have is that the potatoes lacked flavor and almost seemed frozen. Nonetheless I hope to come back and try other foods!Bonus: The mugs at the Egg are ceramic and beautiful. Definitely plan to purchase one at some point!Parking: One may need to use the over flow lot behind the egg by the dentists office.”
