They posted on their Facebook story post that women would go in for free before 11pm. My group and I arrived there around 10:40pm and some dude called alacranero still charged the women at the front door. What makes it look even more shady is that that man isn't even the front door person that charges, so we don't know if he just pocketed the money for himself.
I used to love this place, I don’t know if management changed or if they’re just going downhill but the service is probably the worst we’ve ever had. The manager is so rude and the servers are the same we waited over an hour for our food and drinks + messed up our whole order and that’s only half of it. Save the hassle, don’t eat here. Straight ghetto.
This is the 2nd time i have ordered food through Door Dash from here and 2nd time its been messed up..... Tonight i ordered 2 burgers with fries and queso and chips all on 1 order... Cancun's Sports Bar and Grill on West Tennessee St. offers a lively atmosphere with good service and delightful drinks. The homemade salsa is a highlight, and the ambiance is clean and standard. While the food may be just okay, with dishes like the chicken taco and Cancun burrito, the drinks, particularly the lime margaritas and island time cocktail, are the main draw. The restaurant can get quite busy at night, making it a popular spot for drinks and socializing.
Customers praise the great quesa birria tacos and chips, especially the chorizo cheese. The margaritas are two-for-one, though some find them too sweet. The bartenders and servers are attentive and personable, though young. The food is good and comes out quickly. Customers recommend checking the drink and shot prices before ordering, as some found the Jameson shots to be quite expensive. The $10 cover charge when there was no special event was also seen as a downside by some. However, the Monday night .99 wings were a hit, with large, hot, and crispy wings.
