“drove to Tallahassee from Valdosta, GA, for a shopping trip, and a good friend recommended El Rey Tacos & Beer. I’m so glad I stopped by! This place instantly transported me back to Mexico. I had the best torta I’ve ever tasted, the bread was perfectly fresh and soft, and every bite was bursting with flavor. It’s hard to find something this authentic back home in Valdosta. I also tried their aguas frescas, and they were incredibly refreshing and flavorful. My 10-year-old daughter ordered tacos and surprised me by eating four! She said they were the best tacos she’s ever had.This place is absolutely worth the drive. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone craving true Mexican flavors!“

“This authentic Mexican restaurant, San Miguel, has been in service in Tallahassee, FL., since 1995. I've lived here my entire life and never been until today. It is so good. The price was better than others around but did not lack that amazing hispanic flavor. $40 for me and my fiance. Would highly recommend a visit when you start wanting Mexican 🌮“

“La Tiendita is the real deal—quality, authentic Latin American cuisine for a great price with friendliness and hospitality. This was where my Spanish 2 class chose (unanimously) to go for their off-campus, graduation lunch, and ordered their food in Spanish, loved it all, and had so much fun. I fed the whole class and another educator (13 people—11 of them teenagers/ known for eating a lot, also a couple of vegetarians and gluten intolerant that found menu items they loved too) for around $270 (this amount includes a 20% tip). Dine in or take out, I highly recommend La Tiendita.“

“Just moved to Tally, and one of the first things on my list was to find a taco spot i can regularly visit. I had tried 2 mexican restaurants before this spot and I found them disappointing. I had an inkling my spot was going to be a mexican food truck they did not disappoint. I recommend classic street taco and their sopes. They're located in a gas station parking lot, that being said they dont have a lot of shaded seating. Go for the weekend take out, not the vibe“

“I’ve been coming to this place since 2021, back when I was in college, and every time I’m in town I always come back. The food is consistently great, and the staff are always super nice and friendly—even when I haven’t visited in a while and there are new team members. The restaurant has a really nice outdoor area that’s perfect for hanging out with a group of friends, and the inside is also cozy and welcoming. Overall, it’s a cute spot to grab some drinks and good food. They also have BOGO margaritas at great prices, which is a huge plus!“

“Good experience. The food was good. The plantains were excellent. It's not a fun selection as in a regular Pollo Tropical, but sufficient. The grilled chicken was rather dry and the Cuban sandwich was lacking flavor in the pork and virtually no mustard. Not sure I'd go back there. There's other options in the student union to try. It's a decent back up place. The service seemed super fast for the number of folks there that day. It was packed. We used the kiosk so there's really no interaction with the employees.“

“Perfect 5 stars all around. Walked in the door, immediately greeted with a hearty “Welcome to Moe’s!” by every worker within view of the door. As I went to order, the young man behind the counter was extremely exuberant and appeared almost excited at the mere opportunity to take my order. I ordered a bowl with seasoned rice, chicken, black beans, sour cream and queso. Simple, yet perfectly elegant just to my taste buds’ desires. I was very satisfied with the portions of my rice chicken and beans, however when it came time to pour my queso, I was left with nothing but satisfaction, allowing me to debate whether I even needed sour cream to
make my bowl creamy enough. Absolute 10/10 would order again and I will definitley go out of my way to return to this Moe’s just because of the pleasure and satisfaction I left with tonight. “I love all the way on apalachee, and I’ve been to the on on Monroe and the one on apalachee, it I drive all the way to this one because they’re undefeated on their consistent efforts to make sure service is fast and friendly, and the food is always up to par or better. The other stores the employees are rude, and I almost always have something wrong with the food weather it’s quality of the food or them just not having it in general. This store rocks, afternoon, late at night, they. Are. The bomb.“

“I cannot rave about Latoya enough. One it's rare for me to leave a review but it's the fact that even though it was late and close to closing I wasn't hit with attitude. She kept asking me if there is anything else I need and normally people are only concerned with getting off work. Truly I mean this God bless you because I thought I was going to be met with attitude but it wasn't that and I truly thank you 🙏“
