“Backwoods Crossing catered our wedding a few weeks ago and did an OUTSTANDING job! We had guests from all over the country and they all commented on how wonderful the food was. Everything they serve is farm to table. We had crab cake balls, bacon wrapped scallops, and the best stuffed mushrooms you have ever tasted.For our dessert we had a vision of a donut cake. Kayla and DJ constructed an actual wedding cake made with krispy cream donuts and it was the centerpiece of the night!The staff at Backwoods was also great to work with. “I've had the opportunity to be at Paisano's a couple of times, and the level of quality is unmatched. I've tried a couple things on the menu and I've never been disappointed with my decisions. It's always a relaxing atmosphere; never too loud or sounding like a library. Even when they were first open, the service itself seemed as if they had been open for a dozen years. From the interior atmosphere, the cocktails, shareable plates and especially from the special attention we received from Alexia! She was so remarkable attentive and helpful. She made sure the night went well. Also her recommendations throughout the night were spot on. She was absolutely amazing! Now the drinks, no complaints at all about the various cocktails were consumed. The small plates presentations were elegant and tasteful. The large plates were magnificent. Then ending the night’s final cocktails out on the terrace with the beautiful views was the perfect ending.“
“Been a minute since I posted but I'm back at it. I got the chance to try The Lounge At Market Street out while having a get together for a friends birthday. I like the atmosphere because it's cozy on the inside and then they have the outside area where you can enjoy a nice cigar while you sip and watch TV. They have a killer selection of top shelf and hard to find liquors, even saw Pappy up there! Looking at their menu, there's something for everyone in there. I started by trying the Boulevardier because the ingredients seemed interesting and I've never had one before. It was ok and a little tart, so I moved on to the Old Fashioned. It was pretty decent so I decided to try one more drink before sticking with the Old Fashioned. One of my friends tried a Black Martini so I asked our server for one. I swear that was the best Martini I've ever had so I stuck with those for the remainder of the night. I wish this place had food options because you need something to soak up those tasty beverages they serve. The great thing about this place is they allow you to bring something to eat with you or you can have it delivered. We had a blast inside the establishment and outside in the lounge area. I'll definitely be back! The service here is top notch too!“
“I have visited this place twice and I loved it. They have the best restaurant decor in town. Whoever the owner is, he really did decorate that restaurant to impress. The drinks were on fire and the service was great. Outside of that, I do think they need to step up their game in adding more spices to their food. I didn’t think the empanadas were flavorful at all“
“First time here celebrating my birthday wanted a quick and nice dinner. Let’s just say we weren’t disappointed! The drink menu is what brought us in to try this hidden gem. We got the spicy Paloma , and red sangria. Both phenomenal drinks. Our server mcKenzie let us know that the tequila is home infused in jalapeños for the perfect kick and smooth drink. If you like spicy stuff highly recommend. The steak and fries were delicious, our steaks were cooked exactly as we asked! Very cozy environment and lowkey. Can’t wait to come back. “All the food was great, very high quality and cooked perfect. I also really enjoy the updates they did to the space after happy motoring shut down. I am really disappointed thought because they started to close on the weekend right when the weather got nice? For the life of me I can’t understand why a restaurant would stop being open for Fall, when traditionally all other restaurants go back to full hours for the college and legislative crowds, as well as the nice weather which makes the space there incredibly more usable. I hope y’all go back to normal weekend hours, otherwise I’m never going to be able to go.“
“The best Mexican food I ever had! The service is exceptional. The menu is large and packed with delicious dishes. The alcoholic beverages are creative and tasty. I highly recommend the queso and guacamole dips! Large assortments of margarita flavors that taste amazing. The parking lot could use some work as it can be somewhat challenging to find parking. I do recommend sitting at a table with chairs rather that the booths as they are a little cramped.Parking: The parking lot could use some work to allow for more parking.“

“We stopped by with the kids after scootering around Cascades for ice cream and were happy to see an effort being made to turn this place around : ) We've been coming to Cascades and the Power Plant since it opened and always thought the location was great, but the food quality and offerings were lacking in a BIG way.This trip was different, the staff was amazingly attentive and even offered samples of their new acai bowls - that I have to say were the best I've had in Tally! “We stepped in for a cocktail and a light dinner around 8:00. It was a bit late but we were in need of something light. Great atmosphere. We split a wedge salad that was perfect. We also split the filet which was amazing. Best filet I've enjoyed in quite some time. Enjoyed a Star Lord cocktail and coffee to wrap things up. Our waiter had such a great attitude and friendly demeanor that I gave him a $75 tip on a $117 dollar bill. A great end to a wonderful day in Tallahassee.“
