“drove to Tallahassee from Valdosta, GA, for a shopping trip, and a good friend recommended El Rey Tacos & Beer. I’m so glad I stopped by! This place instantly transported me back to Mexico. I had the best torta I’ve ever tasted, the bread was perfectly fresh and soft, and every bite was bursting with flavor. It’s hard to find something this authentic back home in Valdosta. I also tried their aguas frescas, and they were incredibly refreshing and flavorful. My 10-year-old daughter ordered tacos and surprised me by eating four! She said they were the best tacos she’s ever had.This place is absolutely worth the drive. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone craving true Mexican flavors!“

“This is a solid taco spot the tacos are stacked high the barria tacos are on point tons of meat and cheese . If you get the curros I challenge you to eat just one im convinced it cant be done you will clean the whole box and want more . I'll have to go back to get pictures of the food to add because after the first bite it was on!.“

“My original post I had a 5 out of 5 stars but I came here December 12 the night of my graduation at FSU to show my family this cool place I’ve been so fond of for the past year. We came in at 11:30 under the assumption that the establishment closed at 1am. The taps were completely closed by midnight and all tabs were closed at this time as well. In the past I have 100% been served after midnight. I’m just confused if the employee wanted to go home early. Also the male employee working said we could purchase to go beers after our tab was closed out. He mentioned they were half off but we could not drink them in the establishments. Was not the welcoming environment that I have had in the past. Basically everyone was almost forced to leave at midnight even though the sign on the door clearly says 1“

“This place is soooo good! The service was great. Our waiter was super nice. The drinks are so good you don’t taste the alcohol so iykyk. My birria was amazing as well as the beans and rice. Idk about you but that’s definitely important lol. Give this place a try if you haven’t, you won’t be disappointed!“

“Just moved to Tally, and one of the first things on my list was to find a taco spot i can regularly visit. I had tried 2 mexican restaurants before this spot and I found them disappointing. I had an inkling my spot was going to be a mexican food truck they did not disappoint. I recommend classic street taco and their sopes. They're located in a gas station parking lot, that being said they dont have a lot of shaded seating. Go for the weekend take out, not the vibe“
