Restaurantji's guide to Crawfordville's top Mexican dining experiences.
“My family likes their burrito fajitas on rice, and my husband's food was terrific, too; street tacos served me steak, and I said this was different from the Mexican pork that comes with street tacos. The last time I ordered, the waitress said, "Let me ask and came back saying they were out and called them Carnitas. But I know street tacos, and the Spanish man who greeted my son was very nice. The waitress was friendly but did not know the food or menu. I'd rather have had tacos el pastor, not carnitas. It has a very different taste. It's still a beautiful place, clean. The waitress should know the food, in my opinion. But it's new so they will learn. I love n tacos, el pastorKid-friendliness: Kids like the bottle Mandarin drinks.“
“This place is a super small family business. They currently run out of a food truck Off of Crawfordville hwy. its super small and if you looked too quickly you would miss it. But don't be fooled the food and the staff are excellent. I don't have any pictures because I didn't have my phone but trust that it was amazing. We arrived before the cooks wife had even arrived around 10 and thought we missed out due to an early arrival. However the husband assured us to wait and she got there shortly. We ordered and chatted with the lady about her POS system and some of the struggles she was facing as a new business owner. She was an absolute sweetheart. As for the food everything was delicious and she even threw in extra Birria broth for the tacos. Which by the way the birria was phenomenal. Cannot recommend these guys enough! Support your small local businesses:)“
“Great Mexican restaurant! Very steady busy, but we were seated quickly. The atmosphere spews fun Mexican vibes. Our chatty waitress, Emily, was pleasant and attentive. They have a large menu (which isn’t always good). We ordered the table side guacamole and were able to leave out things, like Cilantro, which my husband hates. It was delicious and fresh. For the main course, we shared a 10 oz ribeye and added a skewer of 6 shrimp each. The meals came with both rice and refried beans. My husband liked the beans which had cheese on them. There were also grilled veggies like you would have with fajitas plus summer squash and mushrooms. There was plenty for the two of us.Parking: Most of the parking is not near the door. The few spots there are for handicap and for pick up.“
“Ate here to avoid the normal fast food in town and we are so glad we did! Everything, and I mean everything - was super delicious and freshly made there in the truck. Outstanding flavors and fresh ingredients. Friendly staff and a great experience. Great portions too, and the food truck itself was clean and well managed. Better than most of the fancy Mexican restaurants we've had in North FL, and for less money! Give these folks your business, they deserve it.“
