It’s a shame that the service is so bad bc they’re food is delicious even though it’s super overpriced. Both times we’ve been we waited by the door for 5+ minutes continuously getting passed by servers without getting acknowledged. When we did finally get sat we asked to be outside and asked if we could have the table with the umbrella. The copper haired old gal with black glasses huffed and rolled her eyes while telling us no and acted annoyed that we even asked. We left without ordering and probably won’t be back bc of her. What a shame that their bad service ran us off and I’m sure we aren’t the only ones. Off to the 5 Spot!!

I enjoyed my deliciously seasoned chicken sandwich. With a nice patio and laid back atmosphere for lunch. Great stop if visiting Savannah.

The Ponce de Leon jerk sandwich was out of this world. Then we tasted the amoretto bread pudding and key lime pie. Definitely save space for dessert. Outdoor setting and indoor are both available.

Diner beware...ordered the spinach salad with pan-seared shrimp and a large 1/2 and 1/2 iced tea - $31.00, the most expensive salad I have ever had. Where am I? NYC?The salad was plated on a typical sized salad plate heaped with spinach. One thinly sliced tomato slice was diced into small pieces and added. One small piece of bacon was diced and added. One thinly sliced onion slice was cut in large chucks and added. Keep in mind - these were just single slices of each. And, only 6 small shrimp were added at $13.95 added to the salad price as market price for local shrimp. Well, I quickly searched for market price fresh GA shrimp and found 50 lbs. head on Tybee shrimp for $100 ($2/lbs ). Tortuga's has absolutely outrageous prices for nothing to write home about cuisine. My dining companion ordered the homemade pot roast, and was really looking forward to some good pot roast. What arrived was a very stringy and unappetizing stew/goulash that she did not eat.Our combined bill was over $60 for lunch. I will never be back!

Yummy and interesting dishes with a Caribbean flair. Bright Cafe atmosphere in Thunderbolt across from the river. We come here a lot.

Good people, good food, and very friendly. The duck eggs were good and the owner uses her own farm for resources. I really enjoyed it. I was able to bring my dog and eat outside.

I have been a regular customer for years. Always friendly and I have always enjoyed their menu. The brunch menu and lunch menu are always great! The dinner menu is a little different but offers some wonderful entrees. I think they have the best crab cakes in town.

Found this gem in Thunderbolt, GA. I had the Ms Lois with the blackened grouper and duck eggs. So good. My wife had the Hooked scrambler with havarti jalapeño grits. Everything was amazing and it wasn't over crowded. Wife also had a butter shot Irish coffee that was pleasant.

Diner beware - if you plan to eat here check your food is cooked! I'm local and came for brunch today. Had the island breakfast. Sadly and shockingly the sausage patty was raw in the middle - raw sausage meat - gross, had eaten a couple of bites before noticing. On a better note....our server today was a sweetheart, good at her job and felt terrible - not her fault of course. Can't bring myself to ever eat here again after today.Sad as the outside seating area is great!

Food was great. Service at the beginning was great. Where they sat us there were flickering lights the entire time. One in our party had an "accident" where his food didn't stay down. The crew handed us towels, gloves and cleaning spray for us to clean it. That was after paying. The menu is not $10 to $20 as advertised here. It's $20 to$40+. Safe to say, we will not be returning.

The food is really expensive and the service was not great. On a $10 Caesar salad, it was an extra $11 to add chicken to the salad. We had a party of 7 and my friend’s son got sick at the table and threw up and the staff made her clean it all up before we could leave. Never have I seen that happen in a restaurant.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu
